No buyers for Nicklas Bendtner?
There are lots of posts about Arsenal transfer rumours, but I always like to have a look at the betting to get a better idea of which clubs are likely to be buying which players. As it is often said; Money Talks!
So I normally have a look at the latest betting every day, so I noticed there is a book on where Nicklas Bendtner is likely to be playing next year, expecting a couple of German teams to be the favourites.
But can you guess which club is the 5/4 favourites to have Bendtner in the team? How many of you said ARSENAL!
That’s right. Unibet have a price of 5/4 that NOBODY buys Bendtner this summer. Because Bendtner’s dad has said that Bayern Munich were interested in him at some point in the past, the German giants are in as second favourites at 4/1.
More German clubs like Schalke, Dortmund, LeverKusen and Hamburg are all priced at 9/1, while Aston Villa are the only English club (other than Arsenal of course) priced below 10/1.
I would have thought Sunderland would have been interested given his Premiership experience, but even they are out at 16/1. And they really are desperate for a striker…….
Can you imagine Bendtner’s embarrassment next season if NOBODY puts up the £10m to take the “Greatest Striker in the World” out of the Arsenal reserves?
I’ll let you all know if the situation changes but for the moment it’s not looking good for the big Dane right now.

im 50/50 weather we should get rid bendner in a diff formation could bag us 20goals a season even if he isnt the most composed finisher. look how ade improved

Niklas cudnt score 20 goals if he cloned himself and played in every position in a sunday league team. he should be RELEASED we should pay the rest of his contract out and release the boy. hes an embarressment to our club and a sign of why we havnt won anything in the last 6 years.

Higuin up for sale? Are U serious? Someone should tell Arsene to use the oppotunity of his south american trip to reach Argentina for Alvarez n Higuin. Somehow, I know he’ll make some “big” signing @ some point dis summer but I just want him to do it real quick because the task ahead is not just about bringing in quality new players, but they must fit into Arsenal’s style of play n English game immediately. Thus, a good pre-season will be great for any addition he’s plannin. Like Henry said, Arsene still deserve our trust!(Even if for one more season). If we can’t have Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuin will surely be a great addition I’m sure. If the news making the round that Sevilla’s offering £8M for Denilson Naves? That means Denilson n Nicklas can fetch around £15-18M! That will be some great deal for Arsenal. Let’s get rid of this guys since they’ve declared openly they want to leave(as if we’ll miss them???) Go on Arsene,The new season started early this morning, as the quality of Ur buys will determine how 2011/2012 footballing season will go?

Bendy is not an embarassment, just confident and the media play it up as usual. Don’t be delusional, bring in a tall striker him and play him on the wing and the result is always going to be the same. The same reason why Nasri & Arshavin have not been prolific, they are constantly played out of postion. Give Bendy a season playing where he likes and you will see a good return of goals. Don’t be an idiot by talking like the rest of the British trash media.

id have more respect for bendtner if he just come out and said i wasnt good enough last year or take my oppertunities, so im gonna stay and prove next year i should be in the starting 11.
atleast arsharvin has done this and respect to the little russian for that. the big dane is a good player but needs to show it consistently and that goes for any club he mite see himself at!

Bendtner has played over 160 games for arsenal… about 15 on the wing.. hes terrible up front and everywhere else. I dont JUST watch MOTD i analyze each players individual performance.. being a 6ft4 striker with limited ariel ability no pace and the 1st touch of Fritzel he has no future at arsenal. Chamckh came in and done a much better job winning 5 penalties and scoring 10 goals in the 1st half of the season only to be dropped for Arsenes love child N52 YOU dont be delusional N52 will never score a 20 goal season in ANY realm

i do hope bendtner is sold and another top class striker is brought in. a striker that wants to fight for a starting place and when coming off the bench can get you a goal. my confidence in bendtner really has faded in the last 18 months. i know he was injured for a lot of it but for me he isn’t quite arsenal quality. im really hoping a big name striker is purchased this summer but im not holding my breath!!

Bentner is tha laziest striker in Arsenal. Rarely does he fight for the ball, he is clumsy and a pitch joker. Never fit for counter attacks. He should promise a change before window transfer or be offloaded.

An attempt to analyse Bendtner for the last 3/4 seasons :-
Strength/s – Good height of a striker, decent aerial reach, normally not intimidated by powerful defenders
Weaknesse/s – Pathetic first touch,snail-like pace & speed, can’t control passes properly, pathetic passer, can’t shoot from outside the box, not agile inside the box, can’t dribble past defenders ….
Well that says it … he may be good in some other clubs, but not in Arsenal..
If anyone has got more chances to prove himself, it’s him… it’s just last year that he was played a Winger… he had “N” no. of opprtunities – he is just not that class

all said n done bendtner should be sold to any club offering any sizeble amount, with the media speculations about odemwingie’s price tag, i guess can be used to bring hm to the armoury if nt the ivorian gervinho or a litle top up n buy gonzalo higuain frm madrid
