Now Fabregas is linked with Real Madrid!
The media is not just happy with spreading transfer rumours about the Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas moving to Barcelona, they have now put Real Madrid in the frame as well!
The Daily Star reports: REAL Madrid and Barcelona are ready to spark a £60m bidding war for Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish giants have both made the Arsenal skipper their No.1 target for next season and are ready to go toe to toe.
They go on to say that, although Barcelona are desperate to get Fabregas to return to the club he started at, Real Madrid are just as desperate for it NOT to happen, and the only way they can ensure that is by outbidding their traditional rivals.
They say the situation at Arsenal remains that Wenger will struggle to hold on to Cesc if the club fails to win a trophy for a fifth successive season, and also whether Stan Kroenke completes his takeover at the Emirates.
Of course, there is the usual denial from Fabregas.
He said: ‘‘I am ignoring any talk about my future. I live day to day and my dream is to win the Premier League with Arsenal this season.’’
He must be heartily sick of issuing denials every single time he goes away for international duty, but it seems it is something we are all going to have to learn to live with.

If fabregas is after money that is when he can go to realmadrid, but for football, arsenal is the best. Foot ball is born at Emirates.

My view is that having spent so many years in the arsenal squad, Fabregas’s skills are best suited to playing at Arsenal, not the patchwork job that is real madrid.
Spend $200m on 3 players, why dont you. If Arsenal played Real, we would spank them…

Well, with Real Madrid (possibly) in the running, that just drives up the price if a bidding war starts between them and Barca.
Barca would not just lose a ‘home player’ but a lot of face in Spain to lose him to their bitter rivals, so RM might just keep upping the price to hurt Barca as much as possible financially because they know this.
All to the betterment of Arsenal.
I’d hate for Cesc to leave, but if Real Madrid helps to up his price to 60+mil, we’d have to take it while we can.
