Now Inter Milan want Fabregas in exchange for Balotelli
The Spanish press is far worse than the English red-tops for generating Arsenal transfer rumours, but the famous Italian rag Tuttosport has decided to join in the fun.
They have reported today that Jose Mourinho of Inter Milan has targetted Cesc Fabregas as the man to lead Inter’s assault on the Champions League in the future, and he is willing to offer Arsene Wenger a player plus cash deal involving the youngster Mario Balotelli.
It has long been reported that Wenger is an admirer of Balotelli, and after Mourinho slammed the youngster after a game a few weeks ago, the speculation increased that Wenger would try to prise him away from Italy.
Now Tuttosport have put two and two together and made five! They say that the youthful Balotelli is perfect Wenger material, and he is guaranteed to get the best out of the talented midfielder.
They report that Arsenal were willing to pay 25m euros for Balotelli in the summer (yeah right!) so Mourinho will try to tempt Wenger with a large cash offer on top of the swap.
It seems Mourinho will be targetting another top midfielder as Patrick Vieira will definitely be leaving at the end of this season.
That line is probably the only truthful part of the whole report from Tuttosport!
