Owen Coyle – Miyaichi is lightening quick!
The Bolton boss Owen Coyle has only been working with the Arsenal youngster Ryo Miyaichi for a couple of weeks, but he seems to be extremely upbeat about his chances of taking the Premiership by storm in the future.
“Ryo has unbelievable ability, he has got pace to burn without wanting to warn opponents, he is lightning quick.” Coyle said. “He has also got great feet and is only going to get better.
“When he gets his chance he will show everybody what he can do. The proof will be in the pudding, but you will see what he has in his locker. He gets the ball and then something can happen.
“He is quite slight, so he has some developing to come. But his work-rate is similar to Chung Yong Lee. I also love his temperament, you always see him with a smile. I like his appetite for the game and his enthusiasm.”
“I would love to have signed him permanently but Arsenal would not let that happen.
“Ryo’s ambition is to go back to Arsenal and into their first team. He has enough to do that. He was at Feyenoord on loan and was terrific.
“When you are at an elite club you are not always going to get into the team, but may go on to have a good career. Everybody has their level. But I think Ryo can be an Arsenal player for years to come.”
Coyle nurtured Jack Wilshere two seasons ago, and Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge improved immensely at Bolton last year. Hopefully Coyle can get his hat-trick by turning Miyaichi into a world-beater this season…..

ryo was extremely unlucky not to score against wigan. he played well considering it was his first league game and it was a six pointer and he will only get better. think we will edge past milan, seria a isn’t that fast a league, so chamberlain and theo will be crucial down the flanks but think it will be 2 nil to us.

i saw yesterday in the live commentary that ryo ran 100 metres within 10.64 seconds on the ball to lay the ball off to klasnic who shot over the bar and i also heard that he had a great effort on goal well saved by alhabsi isn’t this a sight of things to come?

As many have stated, Ryo and the Ox would carve teams up like a hot knife through butter. Don’t know about you guys but Theo looks like he’s gonna have a tough time keeping his place as a starter come next year. Maybe this is what he needs to pressure him to perform better. Walcott has had a good season, but we want our players to have a great season!
Poor Mertesacker is probably out for the rest of the season which could make Vermaelen happy he is back to CB but the bad news is Djourou might get more time on the pitch. Well it actually could be good for him too, to build more confidence. I really hope the Swiss can live up to expectations as he appears to be Arsenal’s weak link in the back.
Next year looks very excitng for Arsenal even if we don’t make it to the CL. Sometimes I think, Arsenal need to play in Europa to mount the pressure on Wenger to buy more players, but I get the feeling that Wenger realises how tough the current league is and will be forced to buy more players to keep competitive in the league even if we make 4th spot. Let’s hope we can be more competitive next year and fight for 1st!

I believe walcott should be sold in the summer, kenny will probably pay 20m+ for him. Bring in junior hoillett(free+homegrown+young), sell arshavin,chamakh,park,squid,almunia(contract end),fabianski(contract end),mannone(contract end),diaby(if injured).

walcott should leave whoever says this answer me this(without checking the internet):what is the real name of the emirates?yeah i know some loyal fans who hate walcott can answer this question for such people i have something to say :just believe in him.don’t expect him to be messi.and just bcos of sunderland’s performance don’t judge. RVP played worse in that game.and RVP is 28 while theo is still 22 he has made a bigger name for himself than RVP had done at 22 and don’t overpraise chambo he’s good but when he too has a rough patch u ll say give him to chelsea or others how can u lose good talented players to ur rivals?especially english theo is one of the most important english players we should still watch him for 2-3 years and then tell what do do with him
