Oxlade-Chamberlain Bags Hat-trick For England U-21’s

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has tonight scored a hat-trick for England Under-21’s against Iceland in a European Championships qualifying match.
If you take into account his last two Arsenal starts he has now scored five goals in three games, which leads me to ask why was he not even included on the bench against Spurs at the weekend?
He scored his first after 12 minutes, his second came four minutes later and his hat-trick was completed four minutes into the second half. A 39 minute treble for our young starlet.
Take a bow Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. That’s the way to show people what you can do son. I bet you he will not be omitted from the bench, if not the starting line-up next weekend when we play Sunderland. All hail the OX!

i would prefer regular starters of a team to be atleast 21years of age…..anyway d boys got it all crossing,shooting,consistency.he cud be dangerous in d centre midfield.

With all due respect,its another case of a player very few Gunners fans wanted,or at least most questioned the fee,yet now everyone is claiming him!!!

Der cos 3 of those goals.came after the spurs match another was against shrewsbury and the other was against a very.poor team from greece. even these 3 are against an icelandic u21 team and the last of the 3 was actually an own goal by the.keeper. i cannot comment on the first 2 as i never saw them. but to ask why an 18 year old kid should get the nod over ….. who exactly?

no 1 mentions huntelaar because his a Chronic Flop n gets injured more then Robin plus his off form n will be no upgrade from chamakh as he is just as good but is VERY low on confidence where as soldado is in RED HOT FORM n can actually use his feet

so how many times does Ox have 2 score/assist B4 he can play n how many times do arshavin, walcott, n gervinho have 2 F*ck up B4 tehy r benched???? u say this n that about the youth policy but u ALWAYS play the sh*t cu*ts n loan or sell the good ones like vela shouldn’t be on loan BUT CHAMAKH SHOULD.

look guys wenger is doing good not playing chambo yet… he will surely want to prove himself and like many other youngsters will overdo himself… look at wilshere, a hit of the last season but wanted to contribute to much to the team, he got injured… he should be introduced in the first team step by step…

I listened to that game in a car park in Holland. Reception was poor and I wasn’t aware that Alex O-C wasn’t even on the bench. After Spurs scored their second I was screaming at the radio to bring O-C on, when we brought Arshavin into play. It was then that I realised that in our wisdom, he wasn’t even there! Now I may be out of order but if we pay all that money for an exciting prospect, who can change a game, why the **** wasn’t he there. We have brought Arshavin and Chamakh on in previous games and they have done the grand total of **** all. If this young man was with ManU, he wouldn’t be playing in some remote outback on a Sunday afternoon, he’d be were he was needed, on the front line. For goodness sake, let us use all our strengths, not entrust it to players who have done little for the pst two seasons.
