Ramsey – I’m happy and I can handle the pressure
Aaron Ramsey is looking forward to being captain of his country again tomorrow when Wales take on Northern Ireland, and he thinks that his progress from being on a hospital bed with a broken leg at this point last year, to beng captain of Wales.
Now he is looking forward to finishing his rehabilitation by playing regularly, and fighting for his first team place at Arsenal next season.
He said: “If I look back I think I’ve been pretty happy with what I’ve done this season.
“I got myself back to match fitness and now another game will be good for me.
“Next season I hope I can get a good pre-season and start off the same as everybody else.”
Arsene Wenger said that he thought that making Ramsey captain of Wales when they played England may have been a little early as he had hardly had enough match fitness, but Ramsey himself thought that it wasn’t such a big deal, except for the honour of captaining his country.
He said: “I had a chat with my manager at Arsenal.
“He said maybe because I was just coming back from my injury maybe I did not need that sort of pressure so early on.
“That’s all he was saying really, but I said to him that I didn’t see a problem with it and that I was ready to captain Wales.”
We can only hope that things go well for the young Gunner, and he will come back to Arsenal next season totally ready to impress us all again…..

Top top player and hopefully with the pre-season under his belt, he can regain his fantastic form before his injury.

I dnt mind fab4 leaving to barcelona nd allow ramsey take charge of the midfield.probably the better player 2 me nd a prolific scorer.
