Ramsey is a better bet than Van Persie tonight!
This weekend a host of Arsenal players are away on International duty for their respective countries and last night Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got the ball rolling with a great hat-trick for the England Under-21′s.
You could have got 8/1 on the OX to score the first goal last night. Hope you were on it? I was! What about the other Arsenal players this weekend. I have been scouring the betting markets to see if there are some decent prices available for a bet on Euro 2012 Qualifiers tonight.
Robin van Persie is the most obvious choice and is a best price of 11/4 to score the first goal for Holland tonight against Moldova in Rotterdam. He scored four the last time the Dutch played at home and VCBet are offering a great price of 12/1 on him scoring another hat-trick tonight.
Theo Walcott could start for England away to Montenegro in Podgorica, and England fans will hope he does start because in the 10 competitive fixtures he has started England have won nine and drawn one. For Theo to score the first goal tonight SkyBet are offering 9/1, and for him to score at anytime during the game Paddy Power are offering 100/30.
Aaron Ramsey has been in good goal-scoring form for Wales of late, scoring in two of the last thee games at the Millennium Stadium. He also scored last week at Spurs so he should be confident of getting on the score sheet against a Swiss side who do not travel well. Bet365 are offering a massive price of 18/1 on Ramsey opening the scoring, and 13/2 is available for him to score at anytime.
Andrey Arshavin will be playing for Russia and he can be backed at 7/1 to score the first goal tonight, though the last time he scored for Russia was in a World Cup qualifier on 14th October 2009, a run of 18 games!
If Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott start tonight they both look good value, and would be my choice, but what do you guys think? Will you be having a small bet tonight or will you be down the pub still drowning your sorrows from last weekend?

many people doubt ramsey but he is good… he’s got a bit of bad form, but ha has assists and goals, and he is improving step by step… shawcross broke his leg in a horrific way, and ramsey returned and is now working hard to become as good as we expect him to… let’s show him some support he is an excellent talent and is a hard worker, so we should at least sing for him and slap those bitching about ramsey playing bad… there is no reason for us arsenal fans to destroy our young player, especially someone who got through a lot of difficulties for this club and is trying to prove himself to us and become an arsenal legend… remember, he turned down united for us… Go Rambo, Go Arsenal ! ! !

Guys, today Gazidis said that Wenger spent a lot more than expected in summer and we can forget about signings in January. God, how I hate this man. If I would stand by Gazidis I would punch him he wouldn’t ever open his mouth again!

Aaron ramsey is the worst overated player right now. He is worst than denilson. Pls dont be biase and judge the player by skin color but look at the performance. All his assist was pure luck. Hes got no paste, no skills, cant shoot, and no eye for creativity let alone his defensive frailties. He is no where near s.parker. Ue womnt even stand a chance in Tottenhams 1st team. So please guys, speak for arsenals sake and not try to say that our fringe players are “oh he is good” or “he is getting better”. That make us real gooners sick. Look at his game vs tottenham recently, its absolutely disgrace to arsenal. And arsene has really lost his plot.

Ramsey has not played too poorly recently, he’s been in a collection of underperforming players. Also, could people try to write in English on here, ‘For been talking nonsense’ and ‘iz instead of is’ gets really annoying!

Arsenal’s Champions League involvement last season, which saw them knocked out by Barcelona in the round of the last sixteen, netted them £26 million.
“Every club has the temptation to think that money is the answer,” Gazidis told BBC Sport.
