“Ramsey not fit enough to return to Arsenal”
The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is continuing his recovery from the double fracture of his leg while away on loan at Cardiff City, but according to Dave Jones he is not yet fit enough to return to the Emirates.
The loan deal is only supposed to be for one month, but Jones is already keen to extend the move for as long as possible, and intends to speak to Arsene Wenger about the possibility in the coming week.
Jones told Sky Sports: “We assumed he was going back after the month and if we can get him for longer than that, then that conversation I will have with Arsene,”.
“I don’t think he’s at the fitness levels to go back to Arsenal yet, then I’m going to say that because we want to keep him.
“He’s enjoying himself here. He’s with us for some more games and we will see where we go from there.
“But it will be down to Aaron and Arsenal themselves to see what they think and where he’s at.”
With Arsenal full of fit midfielders in sparkling form, it is unlikely that Ramsey would get many games for the Gunners at the moment, so I think it would probably be a good idea if he could get another month of regular football at Cardiff……

yeah another month to sharpen up everything then back for the run in, from April-May! Next year you have to look at who will be back starting the season with a full pre-season training behind them…..Vermealen, Traore, Frimpong, Ramsey, Lansbury, Miyaichi, Vela. Thats all who will be returning!!!Don’t be surprised if Wenger doesn’t buy too many players in the summer with this crew all retruning and the squad of players we have already! The likes of Almunia, Denilson, Bendtner called all be at the exit door!

Ramsey is fit and he will be back
On the 26 of this mounth,
You can’t read in between the lines.
The cardiff manger is saying he
Is not fit because he wants him
To stay.
We have alot of games until the
Ends of the season if any one gets
Injured we need players of ramsey
And vermalin level to step up.
Arsenal are on the verge of haveing
a good season, we let a lot of players
Go out on loan so we need rams and
Vermalin and diaby back to make the
Squard look healthy.

apparently better than wilshere according to another blog!
I personally think wilshere is the better player, and is a very very special player. But i haven’t watched a lot of ramsey play.
When Ramsey returns, it will be Alex Song who will need to be on his toes. I think with our defense improving (back 4 and pressing all over the pitch), Ramsey could replace Song, and we could become even more fluent and potent in attack. But perhaps I underrate Song’s contribution to our defense.
Sagna djourou vermaelen Clichy
Wilshere
Walcott Ramsey Cesc Nasri
RVP
Wilshere to push forward as he chooses.
I think we should let Miyaichi stay another season with Feyenoord. We simply won’t be able to play him next season; who do we sacrifice? Walcott? Nasri? And if we were to get Hazard as well?…
Our squad is going to get even better, and we’ll be able to rotate players even more next season.

I still say have a general sort out,get rid of all your
fringe players,the likes of,Bendtener,Almunia,Vela,etc;
then buy another first class, central defender, goal keeper
and a centre forward, with them, you could beat any team.

@ steve: fans like you just don’t understand how things run at the grove do you? we don’t buy world class players we make em world class.
“buy another world class defender, keeper and cf”…are you high? i mean think of what that would mean for szcezzer, kos, djourou and chamakh.

The good news with having our under 21s who have been playing in England is they do not count against the 25 player quota. That means we can have as many such players as we want ! Ie lansbury, Ramsey, frimpong and don’t have to send them on loan if we don’t want to…the future is bright for arsenal.

Ramsey needs and will be given as much time he needs to recover both mentally and physically. Playing at the lower level is ideal for him with a game each week unlike a lot of bench time should he return to Arsenal. Our squad is at last settled and we know our best team is a match for anyone. Injuries particularly to our best players are at a minimum this year and thats the difference. With VP and Cesc playing regularly Walcott and Wilshere have just got better and better and long may it continue. I sometimes do not understand fans who want to spend when we lose as though that would be the answer. Team quality and spirit wins anyday. Would you fancy our chances against Real Madrid? and look at the money they have spent. Chelsea paying 50 million for Torres smacks of desperation. They could have got 100 Nicholas Anelkas, 60 Cesc Fabregas or 120 Jack Wilsheres if only Abramovic knew where to look and had patience. Chelsea’s problems stem from the sacking of Butch Wilkins. Money is not always the answer. Ramsey if handled right will be a great player for us in the next ten years and all for 5 million.

Hey Newry less dozing off during matches should show you that Denilson and Bendtner are way better than our two clowns Arshavin and Walcott who waste chance after chance to put the ball in the back of the net,so any players who need to move on and out of the Emirates are Arshavin who hopefully
won,t get an extended conract and Walcott who needs to warm the bench for a while,a woeful first touch, can,t look up and pick a perfect pass ,can,t cross a ball into the box ,a typical rubbish English player with mediocre skills ?

ill think your find most of vanpersies goals ave com from walcott, and ill think your find walcotts gams to goals ratio is about as good as any midfielder this season with the exception of nasri ! what a clown you are . and dnt get me started on arsharvins stats coz of thats what hes capable of when hes outa form then god help everyplayer when hes form comes back, i think from recent games we can safely say the little mans on his way back aswell

Loan denilson, keep ramsey. We lost or draw everytime Denilson plays, he is afraid to pass or dribble, always looks for safer options and breaks our momentum (pass backward or sideways).
Bendtner is ok, he has quality, his cross is good, he can dribble too, and may be we need a winger of his kind.

Once when I was a kid about 5 or so, my Dad gave me a big box of toblerone chocolate. As I enjoyed my treasure, my cousin who is two years older than me approached me and asked me for a piece. I gave him one, he bit into it and then said “This doesn’t taste very good. You shouldn’t eat this, you should just give me the whole box.” I looked at him like he was complete bonkers!
Somehow listening to Jones reminded me of this story.
