Real Madrid Defender Insists He Is Staying Put
During the summer transfer window Arsenal were linked with a move for Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol, but the player has now ruled himself out of a move away from the Bernabeu.
Albiol had been earmarked for a move in January after being left on the sidelines at Real Madrid. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Valencia and Malaga have all been rumoured to be interested in signing the 26 year-old, but a month is a long time in the life of a professional footballer and Albiol insists he is staying put.
Albiol played on Saturday for the first time this season in the 6-2 win over Rayo Vallecano and said after the game, “Nobody has told me I will leave. I want to work hard to help the team in any way I can. We have to work hard and stick together because we know the season is very tough. I’m happy to be playing again and because we won. I will just try to participate and help any way I can.”
To be honest Arsenal have bigger fish to fry than Raul Albiol, with Gary Cahill and Jan Vertonghen at the top of their wanted list of defenders when the transfer market re-opens in January.

Therefore, why bothering signing this guy??? He wants to play in la liga as Reyes, Merida and Fabregas did.
Plus, Vertonghen is way much better.
Sign Vertonghen and one mid such as hazard/hamsik/gotze.
And give Bartley a chance, I don’t see just yet how miquel has proven to be better than this kid, they deserve a fair opportunity.

I’d be really really pissed off if vertonghen signs for other team and Wenger comes up with the usual lame excuse that “wilshere and vermaelen are like new signings” therefore we don’t need to sign anybody because nobody got injured in the first place, right! they all of the sudden disappeared and ended their contracts and then came back and became new signings.

Why would anybody want to leave Real Madrid for Arsenal? Arsenal wont even be in UCL for the next 3+ years.

PLZ don’t say liverpool (couldn’t beat arsenal with 9 players out n 3 debutants until we were 10 men n 2 add to that their 1st goal was offside n they have won 3 games this season with 1 win being a 1-0 own goal win add 2 this they’ve spent ova 60m in the transfer window n will have 2 sell suarez, kuyt etc. 2 meet the FFP expectations they’ll be lucky 2 scrap 5th or 6th 4 the next 3 seasons) or SPUDS (got ra#ed by shitty n united-RESERVES with THEIR 1st team AT shite fart lame n a team that pride themselves on beating a 9 man team 4-0 AT HOME obviously have problems)

the fact is this joke of a player is more interested in getting a big as paycheck then playing football coz his behind Varane, carvalho, n pepe in the pecking order but who cares his sh#t anyway
