Real Madrid Look Set To Poach Arsenal Target
Last month we brought you the news that Arsenal were keeping an eye on the Peru teenager Andy Jorman Pole Andrade, who is currently playing for Universitario de Deportes in the Peruvian football league.
At the time of writing the article last month Polo was attracting plenty of interest from Arsenal and he would only cost us around £800,000 due the financial difficulties at the players club, but now we have made our intentions clear it appears as though Real Madrid are chasing the 17-year-old and are prepared to make a move in January.
A statement on the South American football website calciousudamericano.it reads, “The 17-year-old player of Universitario is the objective that Real Madrid has in mind. Sevilla and Villarreal have also put their eyes on the player.”
No mention of Arsenal any more I see. Reports also say that Real scouts have since been to see Polo in action and were so impressed that they are also looking to make an offer for the teenager in January.
It appears to me, I am a biased Arsenal supporter remember, that this is another case of Arsenal’s great scouting network spotting a player of great ability like this kid mentioned, and then the likes of Real Madrid get wind of them, come along and take him from under our noses.
The experienced signings in January have to be a priority, that goes without saying, but the future of the club has to be looked after as well doesn’t it? Could we, or should we have got some sort of pre-contract in place if Andy Polo is that good, or should we not bother with our youth policy right now as we have enough youngsters already on the books?

dont need youth we got szchezney,oxlade chamberland, miyachi, lansbury,wilshire,ramsey, afobie, campbell,gibbs,frimpong,miquel,watt.
plenty of youth talent that will see arsenal to the future.

we need to try to get into top 4 for now , but if we dont sell our youngsters we can really make a dream team in 4 years with these signings, but if wenger sells half of them i will of had enough

as much as we dont need them right now and there are about 10 players i and arsenal want and need at the club arsene needs to be more agressive and do what he does best: finding and signing unknown talent and turning them into world class players.
