Sagna – Chelsea swept Arsenal aside!
The Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna admitted that Chelsea were far superior to Arsenal in all departments in the 3-0 defeat on Sunday, but he bemoaned the bad luck of losing Robin Van Persie at such a vital game.
In the two games since Van Persie got injured, Arsenal have failed to score, after scoring in every single match previously.
“Robin’s absence is weighing heavily on us,” said Sagna. “We need to find a solution and we can’t afford to fool ourselves. There was too much of a gap between ourselves and Chelsea.
“They were better than us in the individual battles, they retained possession better than we did and they passed the ball better. Chelsea swept us aside and we are very disappointed.”
The Czech midfielder Thomas Rosicky echoed Sagna’s sentiments, and congratulated Chelsea for the way they played.
“It will be very difficult for us to win the title now, we know that,” Rosicky said.
“It’s not easy, of course, to take this defeat but well done to Chelsea because they took their chances. If they continue to play like they did against us until the end, then it will be difficult for anyone to stop them.”
They are right. It is Chelsea’s title to lose now, no matter what Wenger says.

Good to see some honesty! Unlike Wenger who comes out with the same trash after every bad result! At least someone in that team has a bit of realism.
Ram the message into the thick skull of Arsene who seems to be still living in the past.Im sick n tired of Drogba making a mockery of our team.
