Samir Nasri gets told off by Mancini – Must play better!
The Man City manager Roberto Mancini spent a long summer trying to prise Samir Nasri away from Arsenal, but the young Frenchman is finding himself left on the bench too often for his own liking.
Mancini explained that Nasri needs to step up his game if he wants to become a regular first team member, and says that he has spoken to him about it.
“I think that, in my opinion, Nasri is a champion.” Mancini said. “He’s a top player but I think that he needs to do more. He can do more.
“Maybe when I change the team it gives some players a problem. He didn’t play against Manchester United or against Chelsea, for example.
“Maybe he doesn’t understand the situation, I don’t know. Sometimes this happens with players. I would like him to play better.
“I have spoken with him about it, I think it was after Naples. Maybe he finds it hard to understand the situation and I think at the moment his confidence is a bit low because he didn’t play against Chelsea on Monday. But if he plays against Arsenal on Sunday he will have a chance to show the quality I know that he has.”
Perhaps Nasri should have spoken to Hleb, Flamini or Adebayor before forcing a move away from Arsenal…..

Nasri, we loved you at Arsenal. You broke our hearts when you left. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger and now we’ve learnt that we don’t need you!
At Man Shitty, you’re just another number on the bench. Take a ticket boy and wait your turn!

Completly agree with you all. At arsenal he was almost a king maker. Now a days it seems he’s lost all that touch and he’s just an ordinary guy who is waiting for his turn.

Nasri should have learn a lesson, from Adebayo n co. But since u said man city is garanty then, continue a bench warmer.

I have no regrets about that, he should be condemned to the bench forever. Bravo Mancini.

Cashri ? Serve him right. Did you read his comment recently that ‘europa league is better than trophyless arsenal’ shameless being. Let’s see if he can be called into france team again when he’s being tied to the bench at manshitty. We dont even want him again unless he want to play for our reserves until he is pardoned. As for AC Milan we are going to gun them down. Gunners for eternity.

Mata after joining Chelsea all said stuff against Arsenal and what did he get at the end a beating of 5-3
before that match we all were a lil anxious not same but a bit of anxiety is there now as well and Nasri though he thought he was going to be carved on Shity’s walls he is just glued to bench
so come on lets see u on Sunday
Im sure that u (nasri) will see wt u lost! Not Arsenal

Reading the above comments i find my own opinion in them. Gooners worldwide share the sentiment. Hopefully, now people will stop saying Arsenal suffered due to losses of ‘Nasri and Fabregas’. CF4 is hotting up FCB’s title hopes while nasri is warming the bench of the wannabe invincibles(which, by the way is never going to happen). We suffered ONLY due to the loss of Fabregas, and even that has galvanised the team. Fab was fab for arsenal fc, while nasri was not. Period.

nasri must be lesson enough for others. It is the arsenal way not individual flair which is beautiful.some people get carried away and start to believe they are superplayers not knowing that they are replaceable part of the system.

If Cashri ends up like Hleb or Flamini it will be pleasing to me so that it will be a nother lesson for those yet to jump ship.

Nasri should be another lesson for those players who think money is everything especially in football and they will force their way out of their clubs, maybe they think the club cannot do without them but Arsenal is becoming stronger.Imaging a guy that was winning player of the month in the same Premiership.Pity him!God help him

Na$ri just like Anelka has the talent but will never be regarded as a great Footballer. Just a money grabbing whore sponging off the efforts of others. I hope he never wins anything, although any trophy won will feel hollow when all he does is warm the bench just like Hleb at Barca.

it’s such a shame to have a player (SN) with so much quality sitting on the bench. while he was at The Arsenal i voted him as my best player. No doubt about it Man City have a great squad and if SN does not step up his game then he should be left on the bench. I will in no way be happy to see him remain in Manchester, and this does not mean i want him back at The Arsenal, like the admin said he ought to have seen the way other great talents that left the Emirates for what ever reason ended up. I knew from the start that City did not need him, all they wanted was to take him away from us just as they did to Toure, Adebayourand Clichy. we have a better squad after his depature and we are glad. thanks to the Boss and the commitment of our players. i won’t wish SN ill luck, rather i will advise he steps up where he chose to stay (City) and hope he gets to become a regular. All the best Samir Nasri

I think Nasri has a lot of talent but if he is not careful he will never see its full utilization.Staying @ Arsenal would have been the best for the fans favourite who became an element of hatred as he became a contract rebel. I pray strongly that RVP is well advised and does not go tru similar situation. Cesc moved with blessings rom the gooner family and to the right team. He will forever remain a sought after player a loyal gooner.

Yes he left us… But Wenger says a player is commited if he sees out his contract. He was prepared to. WE sold him. If you where working somewhere… who offered “£2000 a week and then another company comes along and offers you 4000 pound a week you know you’ll go there. Samir left us in a bad way but just think about it.

There is a secret that must be told now ahead of the game at the ittihad stadium. A grand conspiracy has been uncovered… Manchester city is in secret talks with Robin van Persie… Now the story is, egg heads at the club that is man city sat down to review their chances of making the top four and decided that the secret is to weaken Arsenal each season to improve their chances. In the last two, they have signed kolo Toure and Adebayor and the divided was finishing ahead of Arsenal last season. Now they know that a defeat against the Gunners on sunday paves the way for Man Utd to go top and leaves them in the struggle for top four. Unfortunately for City though, the form of Tottenham Hotspurs leaves them in a precarious situation and again they are planning the unbelievable…. 45million pounds come and take it offer for Robin Van Persie in january and am afraid Wenger could be tempted becos Persie has a year and six months left on his contract, by next year he will be 29 and by the summer of next year you must sell if he refuses to renew or he leaves on a free. So the key is to have him sign in January or we lose him to Shitty for 45million pounds. But RVP must learn from kolo, Adebayor and Nasri who are not having life easy outside the Emirate. It was so difficult for Kolo that he decided to spice his system up with drugs to cope but was caught. Now Mancini wants Nasri to do more, I hope he won’t consider going the way of Kolo Toure…. Fingers crossed

He could have stay in Arsenal and become one of the Arsenal legends like Henry, Pires and Bergkamp. However, he chose to enter Arsenal’s Hall of Shame with the likes of Cashley Cole, Flamini, Adebayor, Hleb, etc.
