Samir Nasri Sends France To Euro 2012 – And Thanks Arsene Wenger!
Samir Nasri scored the French equaliser on Tuesday night against Bosnia-Herzegovina, a goal that sent France straight through to next years European Championships in Poland and Ukraine, and Nasri then thanked Arsene Wenger.
Nasri actually said, “I thought of Arsene Wenger’s words when I picked up the ball. He told me last season, ‘You can take revenge in person if someone fouls you’. Some people say you should not take a penalty if you are the player who has been brought down. But he said that’s bulls**t. And it worked perfectly for me.”
A lot of people were unhappy at Nasri’s move in the summer, but personally who could blame him for wanting to double his wages and we all know there is little or no loyalty in football any more.
The thing I find most interesting about what he has had to say is that there is no thanks or thoughts to his current manager Roberto Mancini, or his National coach Laurent Blanc, but it his former manager Arsene Wenger that is still at the front of his mind. Is it me or do I detect a tiny little regret in his words, not that I really care because he has now left our great club, but Arsene has obviously left his impression firmly imprinted on the mind of a one Samir Nasri.

No Nasri has no regrets…these are things people say just to keep the PEACE between him and Wenger!
Opinions divided. What do you think?

I really dont like Nasri at the moment and I want to see him fail at everything he does so too fabregas. However, 1 must ask didnt this happen a few years ago? Why is it that there is an Arsenal exodus every 5yrs or so? Could it be because we haven’t won anything? Could it be that we haven’t shown the ambition in the transfer market to make a good team better and challenge for the title? Footballers want to win trophies and if we sell key players like fabregas and not look to replace them with quality the club is going backwards. I believe that if Fabregas stayed Nasri would have also stayed but the team got weaker and if it was hard to win anything last season common sense states it will be almost impossible to do so this time around. Blame the board and Wenger( big fan of him but enough is enough)

no1 wants to hear about nazri he is a sell out he might be getting more money there but when the big names keep coming to city he will get less game time and less reputation while he would always be a big star and a favourte at arsenal if he didnt sell out

This is just one little effin footballing misfit tryina get a lil piece of love from dejected fans by sweet toothing them with pro-wenger rhetoric. We all know he does’nt mean i tiny bit of those remarks. Go gunners. Down with the pretenders.

People need to step outside their Arsenal boots. If you came from the ghetto’s in France playing football in the street, which one of you would turn down a double waged offer to Man City?
I love Arsenal but he did nothing wrong. He went to see out his contract and carried on playing good football.
Its the Directors of Arsenal you should blame for not giving him another choice.

He could have taken a huge leap towards gaining a legend status by staying at Arsenal. At City with almost every player a superstar, that will never happen for him. He showed massive disloyalty and I hate that, but we really are missing his and Cesc’s talent so bad, that is plain to see.

i cant pretend that i’m not regreting that these lads left and now arsenal is just a shadow of its old self. seasons back people accuse us of playing good football without winning, now we dont win and we hardly play good football. Nasri just make one comment and everybody is shouting that he is regretting. i bet he is not regretting anything. Adebayor once said and rightly ‘i believe we are all playing this game for the money, if i’m playing just for the love and passion of the game, i will still be playing in lome, there i’m appreciated even more’.

From this we can see Arsene is good manager, but the wages structural are not as attractive as others. See come on how much love could he have for a club he just join for few years, is he a fans of the club since childhood? Loyalty are for the players who love and grow with the club since childhood, if Rooney given a chance to shine in Everton he will try his 100% but to win something is different topic. I still have hope in the academic youth who set heart with arsenal, when arsenal win, they happy when arsenal lose they cry its like bonding body and mind. For example Jack Wilshere, Frimpong, Szc, Gibbs, Ramsey, Song and others that coming out the academic. They might be not good enough but we have something in common, we love arsenal. Not the money
