TEN PLAYERS THAT ARSENAL HAVE TO GO IMMEDIATELY
Arsene Wenger has got an excellent reputation for nurturing youngsters from the Arsenal Academy or buying cheaply and making them into stars, but for every success their are at least two failures.
Where Wenger has failed is in his inability to pinpoint the failures and move them out before they become a drain on Arsenal’s resources, as well as his purchases that have outlived their welcome. The wage bill at the Emirates could be drastically cut simply by getting rid of the failures (or deadwood as most people call them)
Who am I talking about?
Manuel Almunia – Why is this man still allowed on the training ground. I wouldn’t even waste money on providing his lunch!
Sebastien Squillaci – Arsenal’s very own SuperJinx! Pay someone to take him off the books.
Nicolas Bendtner – A victim of his own ego. He needs to be sold before he crashes and burns.
Denilson – Another player that should have been sold last summer with Bendtner.
Arshavin – What is the point of being talented if you forget how to use it?
Diaby – I feel sorry for him, but Arsenal have paid his wages for five years already with little return.
Chamakh – Lost his way very quickly in London. Needs to go back to France to be appreciated
Djourou – Like Senderos, Swiss players can’t cut it in England
Ramsey – Like Eduardo and Diaby he looks unlikely to recover his confidence after injury
Walcott – The original Flash-in-the-pan. Cash in quickly
I honestly don’t expect Wenger to make much money from selling or giving away these players (except perhaps the last three) but can you imagine how much wages Arsenal would save from disposing of these ten failures?
Surely that would help Arsenal to bring in three REAL stars and pay their wages?

Agree with th all except Ramsey and Walcott. We need quality players to come In though. We need vertongen gotze hazard and a striker like cavani benzema higuain damiao or neymar. These players will add quality and allow us to dominate Europe for years as they are all young and good.

Walcott can be an impact sub. For every game he does well he has 5 bad ones.
We need a better player than Ramsey in midfield. May be he needs more time. Let him sit on he bench.
Djourou can be used as a 4th or 5th CB. He can play RB too.
Chamakh — im 50-50 on this one cant decide what to do.

We should cash in on Arshavin when we can (ASAP). AW’s EGO is getting in the way as he was one of the more expensive players purchased.

Fact:
City, United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs, Liverpool…. will put Arsenal out of a Europa spot, don’t even bother about mentioning top 4.
Pardew made Newcastle feel more rich and competitive than Arsenal, Wenger has lost touch totally the last 5 years.

Disagree with Theo and Ramsey.
Theo has patches when he is brilliant and then goes on a run of poor games. Consistency is his main issue and he is still young.
Ramsey is an excellent player, just that nowadays he’s been trying too hard to be creative, and keeps trying out highly unlikely through-passes with silly dinks over the defence, or holding on to the ball for too long, making us lose possesion. I seriously think it is just the weight of expectation to be creative that is playing on his mind. When Wilshere is back, they will be excellent together.
That said, the others in the post have to go.
Which means that we need one or two more strikers, at least 2 new defenders, and one new attacking mid/winger.
Attacking wise, Ox and Ryo might be able to step in. Got faith that they have the quality.
Will all these transfers happen? I got a sinking feeling about this but one can only hope.
on a side note, I am pretty fed up about Gary Cahill’s transfer to Chelsea. WHY DID THEY NOT LET HIM GO LAST WINDOW!! They would have gotten 10 million instead of 7mill like they are getting now. Arsenal have had terrible luck in the past few seasons, both on the pitch and off.
Maybe its time to hire a voodoo priest…

wenger will not be turning things around. Sure, he’s saved the club some money, but when wenger is done we’ll be out of the champions league, no top players will join us, sponsorship deals will continue to lag, and we’ll have spent a billion dollars in wages on a squad with no chance of winning anything. I say again, wenger will not be taking us up to the top again, won’t happen because he’s nailed it to the mast that he will now only develop players, not buy them. And we all know how well that strategy has fared. Net, net it’s a lose, lose, lose situation. We lose too many games and any opportunity to win, lose our prestige as a top club with ambition, and we lose a train load of money on wages for average players.

I don’t know about players to get rid of.
It would be nice to get rid of TalkShite, but they don’t “support” anybody. Looking over the headlines at GoonerNews, I think it might be nice to get rid of (in no particular order): Le Grove, Straight Talking Gooners, Just Arsenal, Welcome To The Gooners Town, Aresenal Insider, Arsenal Football Talk and Arse2Mouse. There are probably others.
Supporting a team means supporting it. If you have the money to buy a team, by all means by one and practice what you preach. If you are smart enough to manage a team, you would be the manager of a team. Most people complaining about Arsenal have neither the money to buy a team, or the skills to manage a team. If you don’t like what Arsenal is doing, go elsewhere. And lots of people just like to bitch. Please, someone set up a blog site to bitch about football for the sake of bitching. You aren’t helping any team, regardless of who you “think” you support.
Being a supporter doesn’t mean rah-rah all the time. Sometimes a team has a bad day. Giving them support is still needed, because you don’t want one bad day to turn into many consecutive bad days.
But hey, if you feel a need to bitch about everything, feel free to go “support” Blackburn. Entirely too many “supporters” there have been trying to get the team disbarred since the season began. Maybe you can get them over the edge.

Ramsey should stay.. ramsey is improving each game…. flare, creativity and enthusiasm and full of spirit, leadership?? (captain of wales)
talk about walcott.. go or no go… if cash more than 15 million.. can go.. otherwise stay, because he is still a potential treat for the opposition with his physical lighting pace although he is not mentally and technically ready to be fit in arsenal…
the rest can go especially when they still have market value..
the only player i will said sorry is Chamack… he deserved more time to play but wenger opt to play lone striker and very sorry.. Van persie is on-form, so there is no place for him.. sorry!!

Funny how everyone wants arsene to leave calling him stingy and tight and to bring in 150m worth of world class players like it’s that simple… Everyone talks about wenger not wanting to strengthen his team cos tight, what manager wouldn’t? I think we should be asking the board to piss off and not wenger! He’s one of the best managers in Europe and always will be he’s just not given the funds to do what be does best!

Of that list 6 of them were not even involved in half our defeats this season. as for ramsey he should be no where near a list of departures him arteta koscielny andrvp have carried the team this season. but there are many more that need to be added and some will be pretty contreversial gibbs and vermaelen are fast joining diaby as the most injured players ever after remi garde. rosicky and benayoun are two peas in a pod too light weight with no end product. santos was so unfit he was always 90 minutes away from a serious injury. then there are other dogs. fabianski mannone shea and mcdermott are well below average keepers hoyte hajrovic boateng monteiro brislen hall botelho meade galindo wellington henderson neita murphy. i mean really what the hell are these players at the club for.

The real problem, is Arsenal are not competing with the big boys on wages. Its typical american strategy buy cheap sell high. AW has been very good at that. Most players will want to earn what ever the going rate is. Man City and others are uping the bar on this. ARSENAL need to up the bar as well. They dont need to break the bank, but they will need to get closer, that way the supporters will know that if the player is going to leave is not for financial reasons {NAZRI}. Maybe the Russian needs to take over, maybe he has got enough money that he doesn’t need to make an instant return.
As far as the team is concern I now see what ARTETA brings to the team experience and calmness which was sadly lacking at SWANSEA. Me, like all fans get frustrated, this has been an unpresidented season for injuries especially in the defence, so as a realist I accept this season will be chaotic, a place in Europe will do. The likes of Whilshire, Verm, Sagna will bolster up the team and then who knows. The REAL Battle is to compete off the Field {Wages} etc., then AW can work his magic with the player on the field.

agree with all on the list apart from ramsey and walcott. Ramsey will come good im sure hes got to much talent not too give him time he just need someone with exp to guide him. As for walcott he wastes his talents i’d give him another season to prove us wrong and if he dont cash in an dlet the ox take over. i’d also add rosicky to that list injury prone and has never really contributed as much as he should. Bring in someone to partner RVP someone to guide ramsey replace arshavin and a solid no nonsense versatile CB

I do not know about every one good player AW has brought in and turned into a star, you have two bad ones..it is more like 10 to 1…..1 good 10 bad …so all the talk about how good the great AW is….he is not as great as all that.
Walcott and Ramsey should stick around still……it is AW’s fault, that Walcott is not at his best, he is unhappy at were he is being played….if your manager does not have any confidence in you, that has an effect on how you play…a manager that never mentions your name when he talks about strikers…mentions, Arshavin (a midfielder) and Alex Ox who just came to the club…he has been working his ass off on the wing for years and now he has began to see that he will never be given the chance.

Number 1 in the list should be a deadwood called Peter HillWood who claimed that it is ok if we missed out Champion League next season. Who is he to talk on behalf of me as a fans? Why are we paying him so much of money to come out with brainless statement. Might as well I pay clown to do his job.
I agree with most of the list except for Ramsey and Walcott.
Walcott, I think he can still improve.
Ramsey can be send out for loan.
I will add in Gibbs. I don’t think he is a full player or what we call 1 FTE, at most I will take him as 0.5 FTE or lesser.
Then I will add in Rosicky also. This guy had passed his best time.
If I may, Fabianski also should leave.

This year all arsenal fans will know what kind of coach they have . AW can say something for the future when tomorrow comes he will say other things. I will buy the plays January when January comes He will say I am not buying any one he is fooled with players who are coming from injury. He is playing with the fans who pay their money to make Arsenal the club that is today it is today.The money that all those 7players are being paid can be spend to buy 3 big players who will bring a change in the team. squilachi `s salary + chamak `s salary can be Eden hazard `s salary bedner`s salary + Denilson`s can be an other player`s salary. and so on . I disagree with Ramsey being on that list. He’s a good player…shouldn’t be starting XI material for a club like Arsenal (not yet anyway), but he can definitely have an impact as a substitute.
Walcott can piss off if he thinks he’s worth 85K a week. As for the rest, yes they can all go. I would add Rosicky to that list too.

Ramsey had one bad game against Swansea without his usual midfield partner (Arteta) and you’re writing him off already. He’s had a good season so far, although he could possibly add a few goals, and his injury problems look well behind him. Typical fair weather fan, looking for something to moan about, this article is ridiculous, I thought this was a site for Arsenal supporters, but every article appears to be the whining of people who haven’t actually seen a single game this season.
