Super Robin saves Arsenal again!
Who needs Batman when we’ve got Robin! The Flying Dutchman once again scores the winning goal for Arsenal, and it was a very very special one today.
Arsene Wenger was of course all smiles after the game and just had to sign Robin’s praises for the umpteenth time this season. He said: “You [the media] will say we are van Persie dependent! Today he got us a goal which was at the moment of the game where we struggled a little bit to create chances. He delivered something special and three important points.
“I have elaborated on that a lot (Van Persie’s ability), so there is not much more to say. I feel Robin has scored an exceptional goal, he said himself he was not in his best of days, but what is important is that you are efficent. that is what it is to be professional, when you do not feel the greatest. I must give credit to Song as well, who gave a fantastic ball.”
Everton made it hard for Arsenal, but Wenger always felt that they would get the breakthrough in the end. “Overall we created many chances in the first half,” he said. “And the players were a bit disappointed at half-time that we did not score. In the second half, Everton played deeper and gave us less room, we lacked a bit of team pressure to get them out of position. We needed something special. I was always confident we would score, but I am very pleased we kept composure and did not give a goal chance away.
So Arsenal are finally back in the top four at last, but Wenger says the team still has a long way to go. “Well, it is a virtual top four at the moment because if Chelsea win on Monday they will be in front of us.” he said.
“What is important for us is that we started from so deep that nobody could have predicted that at the beginning of December we would be where we are now. We have to keep going because we are still far away.
We try, we try very hard. We have a big game next Sunday, that will be a big test for us but we have a week to prepare. It will be a good test to see where we are.”
After beating Chelsea away and going on a great unbeaten run, it would be so so sweeet to beat Man City as well……

Highly relieved that we took all three points today. though not an excellent all-round performance, but one moment of brilliance from ”the Song of War” and Captain Vantastic did the magic. c’mon gunners!

Firstly and foremost – HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARSENAL FC for 125 years of history, tradition and pride.
To mark the occasion, who better than Robin van Persie to gift the Gunners a famous 1-0 victory. The Spirits of the George Graham era, eerily echoing throughout Emirates stadium, almost saluting The legend Thierry Henry watching, and the new Legend-to-be RVP. Surreal.
I’ve never felt so proud to be a Gooner! To simply exhibit how much I love Arsenal FC this is my life in order:

Hello fellow gooners. I’ll keep it short, RVP just scored the goal of the season. If not, it was certainly a contender! What a ball from Alex Song as well to assist. 1-0 to the Arsenal, and a very happy 125 anniversary to the club we can’t help but love. Elz. Gooner till I die.

What can you say. Van the man is amazing. He was a little off colour but he produced an absolutely magnificent goal reminded me of the one against Charlton some seasons back. It was a special goal on a special day and the right person produced the stunner. Our our LEGEND.
We played well in the first half but we need to be more ruthless in front of goal. Arteta was not at his best neither ramsay, but we stayed focused and worked hard. There is still need for a more creative midfielder to break down stubborn defences but he must work as hard as Ramsay defensively. The defence played well only problem was that due to the fact that they are not full time full backs they were not giving us much on the overlap. All in all a good day at the office and a GOAL TO TREASURE.
PROUND TO BE A GUNNER Happy 125th anniversary guys

Admin should also change that headline. Making people believe it was just Van persie that made the goal. It should read

Next week will be a tough match but we’ll be more than ready for the war. Bring on Man Shitty, a team of profligate hortatory and money without the honey!
Victory in Manchester is just sweet icing with 125 candles on our cake burning bright. No need to make a wish Arsenal, we’re going to win this one!

The lack of creativity in midfield was very evident in todays performance. Having said that im delighted with the win but for me Ramsey isn’t ready yet. I think bringing in Gourcuff would be perfect as he isn’t so young that he would make Ramsey a bench warmer for the rest of his career and he is fantastically gifted, he just needs to be playing for a team, like us, that plays PROPER football. Then we will see a SOLID team like we did today, but with much more craft and creativity, so a lot more goals. This team with a couple of class additions could easily bring back the glory days.

Happy anniversary to all Gooners around the World! Robin is just a genius and I am so happy that this legend scored a winner on our 125 birthday. I just loved to see Henry, Pires and others happy. All the best Gunners and Gooners! One question: Has anyone seen the assholes called Peter Hill-Wood or Stan Kroenke. I didn’t and this just shows how much they both love Arsenal. Disgrace!

To date all the teams in the Premier League, that have played ManShity have been partial beaten by their reputation, before they even went on the park. This didn’t happen in the Champions League where teams gave them no respect and played their own game, not like Norwich who just tried to keep the score down. ManShity, in my opinion are a collection of good players who have gone there solely for the dollar but who are not a team of team mates. Next week we will have the opportunity to show them, how far we have come and what team spirit is all about. It will be a time for our players to stand up and be counted. This will not be a time to play Arshavin, Chamakh or Squillaci or for that matter to bring them on in the second half. This will be the time to play our committed players and if that means the OX or Park, rather them, than who have shown, they don’t have what it takes, to change a game. I for one cannot wait for next week to come. This will be a defining moment in our season. I predict an Arsenal win by one goal.(well we can’t have it all, can we?)

I would also like to wish Arsenal FC a Happy 125th Birthaday! As for Arsenal from a poor start and where everything was doom and Gloom! Then commeth the Reliant! We are catching the leaders and we can get better. Van Persie, Arteta, Song, Wilshire, Koschelney, Chamberlaine, Szesney, Vermalean, Wishire, Song, Walcott, Gervinho, Santos & the main man Arsene Wenger. I believe we can do something special with this team this season. Come on the Gunners!!!

World class finish from Robin today especially sweet because he was actually having a bad game but a world class striker just needs half a chance even when playing below par.
I just hope TV is okay as he showed why he is so highly rated
Theo can be electrifying at times and needs to start being a bit more greedy and finish off the moves himself.
Man shitty next and we need to beat them and make a statement that only one team can go a season unbeaten.
Happy birthday Arsenal

im jst really emotional on watching he match and am woried about the performance from the first half.even rvp nt hving the best of hus days,bt yet he saves us.evryone shud step up.player such as walcott need to hv a cnfidence to finish himself, like what he did aainst udinese.he dnt no wrong jst sometimes hes dcision making is wrong.gervinho stil working on hes finishing.dfence good, djourou as usual some errors bt othr hv covered well for him.espcial arteta n song is exceptional in the middle, espcialy song.when frimpong gt in and stays in the middle.hes loving the free role and hes vision is even better than rambo.rosicky shud b play ahead of rambo in the next match.rosicky is the creative playmaker nw for us.rambo stil unimpresive.no ofence,he stil has a lot to improve.no wonder some ppl says he is one of boring footballer.he stil cn developed further bt i jst dnt see he realy connected with arteta.wud prefered arteta with rosicky.

bt overall i think song is the man of the match. and im sory rambo yet unimpresive n keep losing the ball.hope wenger put rosicky arteta n song in the midfield against manshity.am woried bout rambo performance.stil a lot need to improve from him.bt stil i gve him the credit for his workrate n a hardworking.
he keep on hesitate on passing or make a dcision rsult in several oofside.lose the ball often.i love to see rosicky on,he rly wna show somethng, even in the last 10 minutes.hes combination with rvp and arteta and song is good.if wenger get either goetze r gourcuf.why nt let rambo go out on loan at bolton.my opinion for him.he definetly hv that quality.frustating to see him losing the ball often n so on.his ability is only on his work rate n hardworking n that covers evrythng for him.

RVP to the rescue…but how long we need to rely on him..Mr Wenger pls do something in January. We really need a b/up that can score goal. Our reserve are not up to the mark yet. We scared when we meet the bottom half of the table team they will kick RVP until he injured. The season is only started for Arsenal and it only half way. the second half on the season is very-very crucial that any lapse or loss of point will make us suffered.
