Szczesny (and Wenger) happy with 0-0 draw and a clean sheet against Villa 19

Arsene Wenger has been bombarded with criticism this week after Arsenal only managed a 0-0 draw away at Aston Villa, but Wojciech Szczesny thinks that is quite a good result considering it was their third game in ten days, and it could have been worse if Szczesny hadn’t pulled off an excellent save to deny Brett Holman’s long-range effort towards the end of the game.
“They had a few shots on goal so it was not difficult to keep my focus but I was happy with the save,” Szczesny said. “They have lost their last two games and their desire tonight not to concede was great so they made it very difficult, you have to give them credit for not letting us score.
