Ahead of this weekends game against Burnley, Arsene Wenger has admitted there are mixed fortunes on the injury front.
It looks like a simple game on paper, given Burnley’s away form this season, but Wenger would prefer to have his best players available to keep Arsenal’s title push on track.
The good news is that Andrei Arshavin should have been rested enough by now, and is practically certain to be in the squad, and (maybe not such good news for some Arsenal fans), Denilson will also be back in contention. Read the full article here

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not too worried about losing Alex Song and Emmanuel Eboue while they are away at the African Nations Cup, he’s worried that he may lose them for the rest of the season!
Arsenal never have much luck when their players go off to international matches, and he is worried that the international jinx may come back into play this time around.
“I don’t think January is too detrimental to the Premier League because you play only three games, so you don’t miss the players too much,” explained Wenger. Read the full article here

The latest young star to emerge from Arsene Wenger’s awesome academy is the 18 year-old striker Sanchez Watt. He made his first-team debut in the Carling Cup against West Brom earlier this season, and marked the occasion with his first goal for the club too.
He followed that up with another good game against Liverpool, and it seems he has done enough for Arsene Wenger to sign him up on a long-term deal, and it has been announced today that both he and Alex Song have committed their futures to Arsenal. Read the full article here
