Arshavin – Only Fabregas can decide on Barcelona move 14

The Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin today admitted that he had talked to Cesc Fabregas about his rumoured move to Barcelona. The Rusian maestro also says that he told him that he wanted him to stay at the Emirates for at least another year but that the final decision must rest with his captain.
”If he goes to Barcelona, I will understand his choice. But as an Arsenal player, I really don’t want this to happen,” Arshavin said.
”I remember when there were rumours of his departure last summer, I told him half-jokingly, half seriously: ‘Stay at least a year or two, I want to play with you.’
