The Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti watched his team lose three points against Everton on Wednesday, while Arsenal won their hard-fought game against Liverpool to move to just six points behind the leaders.
Ancelotti admitted that Arsenal were back in the race for the title, and he thinks it could go down to the final games of the season.
“Things change in football quickly, so Arsenal had a very good result,” Ancelotti said.

If I hadn’t read it in the Guardian I would have just laughed, but they have made a serious accusation against Arsene Wenger.
They reckon that the Arsenal manager said after his team’s win at Portsmouth on Wednesday that Chelsea and and Carlo Ancelotti “will drop points and steadily implode over the remainder of the season and sack you in the summer. If not before …”

The Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has warned Arsenal that Aston Villa could be a danger to their place in the top three in the Premiership, and thinks that the Midlands side has got such a great record against the top clubs this season that they could even challenge for the title!
“Aston Villa are a very dangerous team,” said Ancelotti. “They won against Chelsea and Manchester United. I think Martin O’Neill is doing a fantastic job with this team. The Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has been giving his assessment of the dangers to his team winning their first Champions League trophy, and he rates Arsenal as the Group Winners with the least experience..
