Arsene Wenger is in the unusual position of going for three wins in a row this afternoon (in the League anyway), but after last weks emphatic win over Reading the Frenchman is feeling confident that Arsenal can maintain their good form if they maintain their concentration.
Wenger is hoping that the Reading game could be a turning point in Arsenal’s season: “The positive for me was that we played the football we want to play – based on movement and technical quality,” he said. “It’s a good basis to go on from there and show the same qualities again at Wigan. .......Read the full article here

It is bad enough losing to your nearest rivals on derby day, but just to make matters worse and put the cherry on top of the iced cake one of our better defenders, Bacary Sagna, breaks his leg and will be out for at least three months.
Sagna was injured in what, at first, appeared to be a innocuous challenge with Benoit Assou-Ekotto. It was not the challenge, but the fall that did the damage and Sagna immediately signalled to the bench which suggested something serious was wrong. .......Read the full article here
