Arsenal v Palace, Preview, Line-Up and Score Prediction

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace preview, line up and predicted score by KJ

It was disappointing for Arsenal to only get the draw against Southampton midweek as it has allowed Manchester City to take the top spot and we know they won’t drop many points as the season wears on. However, Chitty will be facing Chelsea on Monday evening and we have the potential to apply pressure on them by securing a win against Palace.

Preview – Can Arsenal bounce back to top of Premier League?

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Match Preview by Ash

Thankfully, after the transfer window goings on(or lack of them), Arsenal fans have a game to watch against Crystal Palce. It is a London derby, albeit a small one, but the stakes are certainly high, with Arsenal needing to obtain all three points in order to maintain a title challenge, whilst the opposition Crystal Palace need to keep grabbing as many points as they can in order to avoid what could otherwise be a relegation scrap for them.

Giroud not Ozil is assist king of Premier League!

Olivier Giroud has been a beast for Arsenal this season, and the French international is one of the main reasons why the Gunners are sitting on top of the Premier League. As well as showing himself to be a much better finisher than we thought he looked in his debut season, Giroud’s two assists against Norwich put him at the top of the table for league assists.

Wilshere believes Arsenal will bounce straight back

You get the impression from Jack Wilshere that he would love for Arsenal to be playing Borussia Dortmund again instead of Crystal Palace this weekend. The 21-year old was clearly disappointed, as were we all, with the result on Tuesday, but it has not even dented his belief Arsenal and their ability to turn the result on it’s head in Germany.

Bendtner’s words herald new start to his Arsenal career

I am one of the many Arsenal fans who hoped that this summer would spell the end of the road at Arsenal for Nicklas Bendtner. The 25-year old Denmark international seems to have been on his way out of the club forever, but he is still a Gunner after a deadline day transfer to Crystal Palace collapsed, according to Sky Sports, because Arsenal’s late move to bring in another striker did not happen.

Why the hell should Arsenal pay Bendtner to leave?

There is a strange development in the interminable case of Arsenal and their attempts to get the unwanted Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner off the wage bill at the club. We have tried to loan him out to help him secure a permanent transfer away from the Emirates, but subsequent spells at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus have all seen the supremely confident(some might say deluded) striker return to Arsenal to collect his weekly wages.

The latest news, reported by Metro, is that Arsenal are willing to pay the 25-year old Danish international around £3 million to get rid of him once and for all. This seems incredible and does not seem to make much sense.

Conflicting reports surround Arsenal Target Zaha

Depending on which reports you read, The Gunners fan and Arsenal transfer target, Wilfried Zaha, has either already met Alex Ferguson and the deal is done, or had no contact with Manchester United at all. A few days ago, United apparently offered around £5 million for the 20-year old winger, which was rejected outright.

Crystal Palace were looking for well over £10 million for the highly rated championship player, so the decision to turn down the offer was easy. United want to pay as little as possible up front and were offering staggered payments, but Palace wanted a good sum up front.

United to take advantage of Arsenal’s dithering over Zaha

Arsene Wenger has opened the door for Manchester United to secure the services of Arsenal transfer target and fan of the Gunners, Wilfried Zaha. Wenger has declared that he wants to get the Theo Walcott contract situation sorted out before he makes any new signings, so Alex Ferguson is preparing to launch a bid today or tomorrow for the Crystal Palace winger.

Ian Holloway is resigned to losing his young star in the summer but has already stated that he would like his future to be resolved so that it does not play on the mind of Zaha and affect his performances. United are willing to let the 20-year old stay at Selhurst Park for the rest of the season if Palace accept an offer of just £6 million, according to the Daily Mail.

Arsenal ready to make Zaha the next Gooner who is a Gunner

Arsenal set to make official bid for Zaha by AH

According to several sources including SkySports Arsenal are ready to open the bidding for Npower Championship and Crystal Place star Wilfried Zaha.

The 20 year old who recently made his England debut has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a while now and in the last few months he has been hanging on the edge of leaving with both Manchester United and Arsenal interested in securing the youngsters future.

Has Zaha snubbed Man United for Arsenal?

The papers have been full of stories about the Arsenal transfer target and Gunners fan, Wilfried Zaha. Most reports have suggested that Manchester United had agreed a transfer fee with Crystal Palace and personal terms with the 20-year old winger. This was not good news for Arsenal fans who thought that we would have the advantage in negotiations because of Zaha’s allegiance to the club.

Arsenal consider loan offer for Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson is a lifelong Arsenal fan and must have been over the moon to sign a long term contract with the Gunners recently. His performances earlier in the season, before Bacary Sagna recovered from his injury lay off from a broken leg, gained plaudits from Arsenal fans and football journalists alike. It is hardly a shock, then, that Arsene Wenger is reluctant to grant a request from Crystal Palace to take the 20-year old right back on loan for the rest of the season.
