Is Ignasi Miquel ready for the Arsenal First Team?

What to do with Miquel? by AH

Ignasi Miquel is a player whom I’m sure you are all familiar with because although he doesn’t play of a regular basis, he often features in the clubs domestic cup run competitions of the Capital One Cup and the FA Cup.

As captain of the Arsenal under 21’s Miquel is one of the more experienced players in that squad and will no doubt soon make the step up to the first team squad soon, after being in and around it for a few years now.
But at 20 years old, the former Barcelona defender is at a peak age in which he needs regular playing time to really develop into a star player and it doesn’t look like he will be getting regular playing time at Arsenal so I think it’s vital that we send him out on loan.

Could Sanogo go straight into the Arsenal First XI?

The only guaranteed Arsenal transfer target so far this summer is the young free agent Yaya Sanogo, and even that move is yet to be confirmed on the official Arsenal website! But the Auxerre chairman Guy Cotret had another meeting with Arsene Wenger on Monday, and he has revealed that the Arsenal boss will wait until after the pre-season games before deciding whether Sanogo could go straight into the Gunners starting XI.

Arsenal Debate: Is Jenkinson ready for the First XI?

Can Jenkinson fill a Sagna shaped hole? by DG

Although Bacary Sagna has yet to officially decide on his future, many Arsenal fans have already decided they would rather he leaves. Sagna has struggled to find consistent form this season, and although the player himself is yet to make up his mind, it seems most fans are preparing for a life without him. Sagna has been a loyal servant to the club, and if he does leave this summer I will remember him fondly and wish him the best of luck.

How Arsenal sold a whole First Team in just three years (for £145 million!)

Arsene Wenger is always going on about how much he likes to build a team of youngsters into a Championship-winning side, but his five-year plan is continually dragged off the rails because all of our best players leave.

This has heightened now to the fact that he has sold a complete First XI of Arsenal Players in the last three years! This is by no means every player that has been sold, but they have all been crucial to the side at some point or other.
