Theo Walcott is returning to Arsenal after picking up an injury while training with the England squad for the World cup qualifiers against San Marino tonight and Montenegro on Tuesday. The news is very worrying for Arsenal fans and will be a real concern for Walcott and Arsene Wenger.
The Mirror reports that the 24-year old is suffering from a groin injury and will definitely not be available for The Gunners in the next Premier League match against Reading next weekend. You couldn’t make it up. Arsenal have been struggling with injuries since the start of the season and it never seems to get any better. The absence of Kieran Gibbs who was injured against West Ham, had a very detrimental effect on the Arsenal defence, just as the Gunners were putting a good run together, and the nervousness spread throughout the team.
