The Arsenal winger/striker Theo Walcott has reached his target of 20 goals this season, despite lapsing in and out of form all season, and he capped it off with the winner against QPR after just 20 seconds this weekend.
Arsene Wenger was asked why he thought Theo has suddenly improved this year and the Gunners manager says that it is simply because he has learned to shoot the ball on target! Wenger said: ““He’s more mature in his finishing,”
“Against QPR he scored a bit of a similar goal to the one against Man United. It’s a short backlift, he makes good runs and he’s calm now in front of goal. .......Read the full article here

The right-back Carl Jenkinson would probably win the award right now for Arsenal’s most improved player this season (if there was one!) but he would definitely win the award for being the biggest Arsenal fan in the dressing room.
He has always been an Arsenal fan as was his father and grandfather before him, and the youngster put his thoughts into words: “I am a fan of this Club and that will never change,” he said. “I am just lucky enough to have been given the ability and the chance to play for my club. .......Read the full article here

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is under no illusions that tomorrows game against Stoke will be easy, especially considering that his team were knocked out of the FA Cup at the Britannia Stadium just a few weeks ago.
Arsenal were also beaten 2-1 in this fixture last season, and Wenger is aware that the team needs to just concentrate on their defence from set-pieces, and to put any thoughts of revenge out of their minds.
“It is a game we want to win and that is not necessarily linked with what happened before,” he said.
“It is just linked with how we cancel their strong points, and as well how strongly we perform on Saturday. .......Read the full article here
