The agent of the Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure, Dmitri Seluk, has already announced that his client will be going to the Premier League next season, and today he is saying that Arsenal are keen on taking him, and he could be used as a makeweight in the bid to take Fabregas to the Nou Camp!

Just a few days ago, Arsenal clearly stated on their official website that they were not going to listen to any offers from Barcelona for Cesc Fabregas, but the Spanish giants seem to think that this was just a ploy in the negotiating process.

The Barcelona president Joan Laporta says that his club won’t pay more than £30m for the Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, despite the Gunners valuation for the player being quoted at least twice that figure.
Because Fabregas has publicly stated that he wants to join the Spanish giants, Laporta believes that Arsenal will have to give in to whatever price that Barcelona offer, and their valuation of the “market price” is the £30m they have already offered. Now I refuse to have any knowledge of whether this is true or not, but it is being reported today that the Barcelona president Joan Laporta had travelled to Morocco last week, where Cesc Fabregas just happens to be convalescing, and they met in secret.
Normally I would take everything that the Spanish paper, Sport, says with a pinch of salt, but it seems that the story comes from a Morrocan paper called El Botolan, which is totally new to me so I can’t say whether it is usually associated with gossip or not, but it has been described as a “local paper” .......Read the full article here
