The Gunners right back Bacary Sagna knows that Arsenal have been going through a bad patch recently, but he reckons that they now need to bounce back at the Emirates if they are going to seriously challenge for any trophies this season.
“It’s going to be a massive game against Fulham,” Sagna said. “We need to impose ourselves in our stadium. We want to show we can race for the title and the best way to do it is first of all to home win games. .......Read the full article here

The Schalke midfielder Lewis Holtby has been linked with a move to Arsenal since January, when it was reported by some influential journalists that a pre-contract agreement had already been arranged with the Gunners.
The 21 year-old, who missed out on a place in the Germany side at the Euros due to injury, has made it clear that he is happy playing in the Bundesliga, but would be very happy if the chance came along for him to join Arsenal.

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may have spent the summer trying to acquire Mark Schwarzer from Fulham, but (true to form) the Frenchman is going to play his second string side against Tottenham tonight, which will include Fabianski in between the sticks.
This will mean a return for the Pole to White Hart Lane, where his confidence took a massive knock when the Young Gunners were beaten 5-1 in a Carling Cup semi-final just two years ago.
“It was a massive disappointment for him,” said Wenger. “He has a very strong attitude, a very strong response and he works very hard in training, so he has an opportunity to show his massive talent. I have massive faith in him and I think I have shown this historically.” .......Read the full article here

The Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner came on as sub at White Hart Lane two years ago, and scored his first winner in a North London derby, but believes that the Lilleywhites have improved since then.
“That was fantastic,” he said. “I loved every moment of that and the atmosphere is always amazing when you play derbies.
“They always had the players but never seemed to get it going whereas this season they have. They deserve to be where they are.”
Tottenham are now fighting for the coveted fourth Champions League place, and will be desperate to get an unusual good result against their neighbours, but Bendtner believes that the Gunners just have to win to keep their title hopes alive. .......Read the full article here
