It seems as if Arsenal fans will have to wait even longer to see the talents of Ryo Miyaichi on display at the Emirates Stadium. If the player dubbed the Japanese Messi does not start having better luck, he may never make it as a Gunner, because he suffered another blow today on his return from injury.
The 20-year old winger/striker has just come back from a lengthy lay off due to another ankle injury. He played in the under 21s for Wigan earlier this week, and was brought on at the end of the first half of the FA cup tie at Everton. Wigan were already 3-0 up, so it was a great opportunity for Miyaichi to get some badly needed time on the pitch, and the youngster would have been happy with his contribution. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal have a chance to go above Everton into fifth place and make sure that Tottenham and West Ham remain below us in the Premier league table, but we must beat Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow to do it. Arsene Wenger will make sure all of the Gunners know that it will be far from easy, but it is imperative that we do it, as Everton will be pushing for a Champions league place at the end of the season.
“For us it’s a vital game every year. They fight at the top of the league every year. They are one of the contenders for a Champions league spot as well. .......Read the full article here

I doubt that his manager and team mates at Aston Villa will appreciate the words of their new striker, Christian Benteke, after he spoke about his love for Arsenal football club. He also suggested that he would love to play for the Gunners and that Villa was just a temporary stop on his football journey.
“I am not afraid of making enemies at Aston Villa by saying I love Arsenal. There are worse things one can say.
“I am a Villa player for now. They are the right club at the right time for me. I have fulfilled a dream by playing in the Premier league. Now it is about staying as long as possible. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal were placed in group B for this season’s Champion’s league. The team from pot two chosen for Arsenal’s group was Schalke 04 from Gelsenkirchen in Germany. They finished third in the Bundesliga last season behind Borussie Dortmund and Bayern Munich. The team from pot three was Olymiacos from Piraeus in Greece. The fourth team drawn in the group was the French champions Montpellier.
It could be better and it could be worse. None of the teams fills you with dread and there are no horrible trips to frozen grounds in Russia or Scandinavia to worry about. But we have got two teams who won their leagues in Montpellier and Olympiacos. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal have definitely missed out on the signature of Kevin Mirallas. The 24-year old Belgian international was apparently offered the chance to play in the Premier league by Everton and the Gunners. Today we have discovered that he has agreed personal terms and has completed his medical and will be playing at Goodison Park this season. Everton have agreed a fee of around £6 million with his Greek club Olympiakos.
It is hard for an Arsenal fan to understand why any player would pick Everton over the Gunners, but the reason, according to Skysports, is that he wants to be guaranteed regular football and knows that there is a better chance of that on Merseyside. To be honest, he would very likely have been a fringe player at the Emirates. .......Read the full article here
