Arsenal target defender ready to leave Marseille

He may not be the biggest name in the world of football, but Nicolas N’Koulou has attracted the interest of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham with his performances for AS Monaco and Marseille. If Arsene Wenger is thinking of signing the central defender in the summer, he will have been encouraged to do so what N’koulou said this week.

“The club and me are together on my future. If they receive an offer they can’t refuse, then we will have to part company,” said the 23-year old. “Marseille is a great club and I love playing for them. They are part of my life.”

Which positions need signings? by KJ

We go into the crucial game against Tottenham at White Hart Lane as underdogs. It pains me to say it but an argument can be made for Tottenham being the better team this season. I don’t personally subscribe to that as I feel some of the players have been slacking and should be much higher up than what we are now. Arsenal transfer rumours-Mbiwa, Roguljic and N’Koulou

Arsenal have been linked with the 22-year old Cameroon international Nicolas N’Koulou before and are keeping an eye on the talented defender who signed for French Ligue 1 side Marseille last summer. He has continued to improve and is drawing the attention of quite a few big clubs, including Chelsea and AC Milan.

If Arsene Wenger is keen on signing the player, he may have to make his move soon, as Barcelona are said to be thinking seriously about him to supplement their back line, according to Talksport.
