Arsene Wenger knows that Arsenal could face a Liverpool side tonight that is desperate to bounce back from the disappointment of going out of the FA cup to League 1 Oldham. The result and the performance at Boundary Park could have a negative effect on team spirit and confidence, but Brendan Rodgers will be doing everything he can to ensure that his players are galvanised into an extra effort against the Gunners tonight.

If Arsene Wenger was thinking of doing a bit of tinkering with the Arsenal team, that is obviously his perogative (not Bobby Brown’s). The one change that he should not even consider, however, is the inclusion of Olivier Giroud. With the Frenchman having scored two goals in each of his last two games, this probably will not seem like a radical idea, but that is not the only reason why Wenger must have him in the starting line up tomorrow. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal host Liverpool in the Premier league on Wednesday, and it is yet another absolutely crucial match at the Emirates. If Liverpool win they will join the Gunners on 37 points, and if Arsenal win they will put daylight between the clubs and keep up the chase on Everton and Spurs for fourth spot.
Arsenal totally outplayed Liverpool at Anfield this season and won 2-0, but Liverpool seem to have improved since then. They are coming off a shock away defeat by Oldham, though, so will not be feeling too confident. Their away form in the league is not great either, just three wins against QPR, Norwich and West Ham.
