Wigan vs Arsenal preview, predicted line up and score line
It’s another match against the relegation strugglers. Last match we thrashed Reading 5-2 and I’d expect similar against a Wigan side that looks odds on to finally be relegated after so many great escapes.
Although this is an away game, you can fully expect Arsenal to retain the majority of possession as well as being the most threatening team on the counter attack. One positive that wasn’t really highlighted from the Reading game is that Arteta seems to be finally back into his passing rhythm. On numerous occasions, he tried the dangerous pass forward rather than the safe pass back to Mertesacker or Vermaelen. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal vs Chelsea preview, line-up and score prediction. by KJ
It’s strange going into a game against Chelsea with optimism abundant amongst the Arsenal fans. Whether this optimism comes from knowing that Drogba won’t be playing tomorrow, I don’t know. All I know is that the Ivorian has been a thorn in our side for many years.
This Chelsea team that will line up tomorrow will be vastly different to anything Wenger has seen from the blue side of London in quite some time. They are technically superb and have a perfect blend of possession and counter-attack. However, they seem very frail in defence, if tested (i.e that game against Juventus). If anything, they remind me of the Arsenal of old. .......Read the full article here

The ex-Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is still pronouncing that Spurs will finish above Arsenal, despite his departure from White Hart Lane this summer. Redknapp threw away a massive lead over Arsenal at the end of last season and ultimately lost out on a place in the Champions League, but he still thinks Arsene Wenger’s team will struggle again in the Premier League this time around.
Redknapp was asked for his predictions on the coming season and he said: “I suppose City will be favourites and then Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham again,”
“Arsenal will be in for a tough season this year if they lose Van Persie, I think they’ve got it all to do and Tottenham could finish above them this year. .......Read the full article here

Analysing Arsenal’s fixture list for the 2012-2013 season (pt 1) by KJ
Hello everyone. It’s been quite some time since I last done an article for JustArsenal but I’m back now and hope to really contribute to the site.
My first article is going to be on the new fixture list that was just released a few hours ago. This may seem like a non-issue but I can assure you, fixtures at the right times can make or break a team’s season.
I’m going to go through it month by month:
August
18 Sunderland (H)
25 Stoke (A) .......Read the full article here

Arsenal have jumped back into second place in the Premiership and can now start brushing aside opponents while waiting for Chelsea to inevitably drop points, starting with the visit of lowly West Ham United this weekend.
Arsene Wenger will be pleased to have a very large fit squad to choose from as Fabregas, Bendtner and Walcott all seem to be fully fit again. Its a shame that Kieran Gibbs has got yet another injury, and will be back on the treatment table for another few weeks at least. .......Read the full article here
