Spurs v Arsenal Preview, Line-Up and Score Prediction 50

Tottenham vs Arsenal preview, match line up and score line prediction by KJ

This is arguably the biggest game of the season so far considering not only the rivalry between the two clubs but the context between it. We are 4 points off Tottenham who currently sit in the 4th spot and a win is imperative if we want to apply some real pressure to the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.

This game is going to be massive. The atmosphere is going to be tense with all fans knowing the enormity of what’s at stake. This will most likely be decided by the team not on form but the team that has the most bottle. There are goals in this for sure.

Sunderland vs Arsenal preview, match line up and predicted score line by KJ

Arsenal are back after the midweek international break (which included a MOTM performance by our very own Jack Wilshere). We go into this game after what was a hard-fought win against a defensively solid Stoke side who’s aim was to sit back and hope for the best.

This similarly will be a difficult game in my opinion. Sunderland have slowly improved their earlier form and are a difficult opponent at the Stadium of Light. They’ve recently signed Danny Graham who along with Steven Fletcher could potentially trouble Arsenal’s defence (who could possibly lack both Koscielny and Vermaelen).

Arsenal vs Stoke preview, predicted line up and score line prediction by KJ

After what has been a very difficult month of both games and disappointing transfers (although I’m very happy with the signing of Monreal), we’ve finally got a few easy fixtures coming up that should close the gap between us and Tottenham at 4th.

We have a tough game today against Stoke City. We’ve struggled against Stoke at the Britannia but have a brilliant record against them at home.

Southampton vs Arsenal preview, match line up and predicted score line by KJ

Arsenal finally seem to be in a rich vein of form with 4 wins in a row. It is the perfect time to face Southampton as they not only threw away a 2 goal lead in their previous match but will be missing a few key players.

Arsenal were a bit clumsy in the first half against Newcastle but turned on the afterburners in the second half to score 6 very good goals. We used our pace very effectively and capitalised on Newcastle’s fatigue (caused by the Man Utd game only two days earlier). We can definitely do the same against Southampton who have had a very congested period of fixtures.

Everton vs Arsenal preview, predicted line up and score line

It’s very rare that we have a mid-week Premier League tie but I’m excited nonetheless. We’ve been in some very iffy form with no real understanding of what team performance we will see tomorrow. We could see the extremely flat Arsenal side that lacks any creative spark or we could see an Arsenal side that will run rampant and everything will go right.

Everton have recently gone through a bad patch of form and this is probably the best time to face them. We’ve got a very strong record against Everton at Goodison park in the last couple of seasons and hence you’d expect a very good performance from our lot.

Liverpool v Arsenal Preview, Stats and Prediction 41

Liverpool v Arsenal Preview by AM

Arsenal travel to Anfield in their next match to face Liverpool. The Gunners have have already dropped four points from their opening two matches. Here is a preview for the game they promises to be a exciting affair.

Liverpool injurys and suspensions

The only injury concern for Liverpool at the moment is Lucas. The Brazilian, who just returned from an injury which kept him out nearly whole of last season, is expected miss the action for nearly 2 – 3 months due to his recent thigh injury. Joe Cole will also face a late fitness test, but the Englishman is expected to be fit and available.

QPR vs Arsenal Match preview and favourite line-up (plus score prediction) by KJ

It’s happy times as an Arsenal fan. We’re on 7 wins now and can extend that to 8 against Queen Park Rangers. Arsenal haven’t won 8 games on the trot since the Invincibles season. It would show a sign of intent from the squad to start rivalling achievements made by one of if not the best team in the Premier league era.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa preview, line up and score prediction 61

Arsenal vs Aston Villa preview plus line up by KJ

One of the more easier games in our run-in for a top 4 finish. They are not playing for anything important. There is no European qualification or fears of relegation. They are one of the most mediocre clubs in existence at the moment. However, there is no place for complacency against a Premier league club.

We have been in extremely good form and should expect to extend that run to 7 wins. The previous 5 wins have been against opposition of a higher order and we’ve really put some of those teams to shame, *cough* Spuds *cough*. Aston Villa will look to play the likes of Agbonlahor and Albrighton against our roaming full-backs to get in behind.

Arsenal vs Newcastle preview by KJ

Arsenal are on a run of 4 wins so far in the league and hope to extend it to 5 against the Barcodes on Monday night. This looked a very tricky fixture a month ago but Arsenal fans must be quietly confident of our chances of getting the 3 points tomorrow.

The reverse fixture this season ended on a stale 0-0. Little did we know how good a result that was until the turn of the year. The same fixture last season ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Gunners with Carroll scoring the winner. Looking back at it, it’s embarrassing that Arsenal managed to concede a goal to Andy ‘can’t score’ Carroll.

Pardew – I don’t think Newcastle are good enough to beat Arsenal 43

Posted on March 10, 2012 by admin

The Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has given a remarkably honest assessment of his teams chances of beating Arsenal on Monday and challenging for a Top Four position this season, in fact he is not even sure that the Toon can hang on for a place in the Europa League!

Pardew told the Chronicle: “It would be over. The Champions League is over if we do not win this one.

“It is not a game which will decide our Europa League fate.

“The next 10 games will do that. This one is about the Champions League – if we win we will be throwing our names in the hat.

Arsenal vs. Fulham Preview – Team news and Prediction 16

Posted on November 26, 2011 by admin

After an emphatic win over Dortmund in the Champions League, the Gunners host Fulham at the Emirates in a match described by Wojciech Szczesny as ‘vital’, and rightfuly so. A win could see Arsene Wenger’s team back in the top four and few would bet against them to get the job done.

Fulham have never won away at Arsenal in their 132 year history and it’s been 8 years since they last won away in London. The West-London side will be relying heavily on their in-form strikers Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora who have three goals a piece so far this season. The latter in particular could really cause problems to a defense which still looks shaky.

Arsenal v Dortmund Preview – A win is on the cards! 21

Posted on November 23, 2011 by admin

Later tonight, Arsenal host Borussia Dortmund in a crucial game for both sides and I have recently been told off for not having a matchday thread lately, so here it is!

Arsene Wenger’s team are in a rich vein of form both domestically and in Europe. The weekend’s victory over the Swans Canaries (I knew it was a bird!) made it five league wins in a row and it’s been twelve games since we lost at home in Europe. Dortmund on the other hand, are on quite a run themselves. They will be flying high after that win against Bayern and Wenger himself has admitted that it will be a much tougher game this time around.
