Here at Just Arsenal we have been loathe to comment on the Arsenal rumour linking Samuel Eto’o with the Gunners, for the simple reason that it seemed like too much of a ‘fantasy signing’ for me to jinx by mentioning it!
But today it is yet again in the papers that Eto’o is willing to try playing in the Premier League if he is offered a good “project” rather than the astronomical wages he usually commands, and I thought ‘if he wants to prove he can score goals in the Premiership, he won’t get more chances than if he joins Arsenal’. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal have been linked with Eden Hazard for years, and it looked like the Belgian youngster was finally going to be leaving Lille this summer, and he admitted that he wanted to move away from Ligue 1 to one of the bigger leagues.
Arsenal fans everywhere were hoping that this coukd be the year that Wenger could finally get the man that has been described as better than Lionel Messi, but it seems that it will be at least another year before he leaves Lille.
The little club in northern France have just won their first Ligue 1 title in over 50 years, and the Lille president Michel Seydoux said today that the 20 year-old will not be moving on “at any price”. .......Read the full article here

Why Arsenal can’t afford to sack Wenger by Subin George
I don’t know how many people are aware of the fact that the last 5 years (2006-2011) has been a project by itself? Yes, it sure was a project undertaken by the entire club management and Le Professor himself to make sure the club becomes financially stable after moving to a new stadium and help nurture new young talents without losing out on a Champions League spot. As we are nearing the end of that project, it’s review time…and it sure looks like they have achieved what they were aiming for without any hassle.
