Walcott ready to give Arsenal more attacking options

Walcott’s return is highly anticipated! by AH

Theo Walcott is undoubtedly one of the clubs most experienced and best players at Arsenal in regards of opinion. The speedy winger has been ruled out of action for about six weeks now following an abdominal injury. But now after a a small period of struggle from Arsenal, it seems as if his expected return could be this weekend.

Walcott returned to training at the start of this week and although he probably isn’t fully fit, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wenger start the English man in the line up against his former employers of Southampton FC.

Fabregas rumours come back to haunt Arsenal fans

A deal for Fabregas returns! by Ash

Already this summer, we have experience the long saga of Cesc Fabregas transferring to Arsenal from Barcelona, in a move that never even happened despite being almost as long as the deal that occurred between the three parties back in the summer of 2011.

Arsenal Debate – Would you take Flamini back as our holding midfielder?

Well here is an interesting question (with the lack of any real transfer news! LOL). So Mathieu Flamini forced his way out of Arsenal to joino AC Milan five years ago (doesn’t time fly?) and it was Wenger’s first (and only) that he lost a player to a free transfer that he wanted to keep, although Theo Walcott came close last season.

But now the French international has had enough of Italy and has so far rejected the offer of a new contract with Milan. He made it clear that he wants a return to England when he said: “Milan offered me a contract for two years but I need to take my time and make the right decision.”

Marseille confirm interest in Arsenal’s Gervinho

Gervinho could soon be on his way out!

Gervinho is a player that divides the fans of Arsenal Football Club. Some recognise his talent, whilst some (in fact the majority) see him as absolute rubbish, as a nice way of putting it. But the Ivorian may not be around with Arsenal for much longer, with Ligue 1 club Marseille stepping up their interest.

Marseille assistant boss Franck Passi told the London Evening Standard: “This is a profile that interests us, yes. We want flank players, with dribbling, passing and scoring and Gervinho has this profile.”

No way! Andre Santos returns to Arsenal!

Santos unhappy with Arsenal return! by Ash

Rarely does there seem to be mutual feelings at the club between players and the fans, but the Arsenal left back Andre Santos has stated his disappointment in having to return to Arsenal. Surely this means he will be gone this summer no matter what because I firmly believe the club wanted to sell him before hand, but they will definitely look to let him go after hearing that he no longer wants to stay at the club.

Cesc Fabregas definitely set for Arsenal return?

There are more and more Arsenal transfer rumours appearing every day, and judging by the sheer volume it would seem that Stevan Jovetic is Arsene Wenger’s main target this summer. In the midfield department I have had a tip from an ex-Arsenal youth player that our very own Cesc Fabregas is definitely in line for a return to the Emirates.

According to my source, Fabregas has become unsettled at Barcelona and is longing for a return to the only other club in his heart – The Arsenal.

Alex Song denies he wants to leave Barca to return to Arsenal

The Cameroonian midfielder Alexander Song, has been the subject of many reports in Spain saying that he was unhappy with the amount of playing time he is getting at Barcelona, and would be keen to return to Arsenal to regain his regular place in the team.

But the player himself has now denied any such wish, and although he respectfully says that Arsenal are a very good team, they just don’t quite measure up to Barcelona in the world rankings, and we can’t really disagree with that right now can we?

Why Arsenal really COULD get Cesc Fabregas back…..

There has been an eruption of Arsenal rumours lately suggesting that Cesc Fabregas’ emotional return to Barcelona has gone wrong and he is now regularly left on the bench. This could have something to do with his old “father” Pep Guardiola leaving the club last summer, and it seems that the new coach Tito Villanova wants to offload the ex-Arsenal captain to fund some new arrivals during the coming transfer window.

Could Fabregas return to Arsenal? Am I dreaming!

Fabregas Return? What a dream! by Asah

Twitter today exploded with the news that according to various Spanish media websites that Barcelona are looking to sell Cesc Fabregas this summer. I must clarify that in no way did the report from AS say a return to Arsenal, was on the cards but I think if there is some truth in this story then Arsene Wenger will definitely be interested in re-signing Arsenal’s former captain.

Arsenal debate – Should Alex Song come back?

There have been rumbling all season about how unhappy Alex Song has been since his departure from Arsenal last summer. He was a certain starter for the Gunners last season, but now he is finding it hard to get near the first team now he is at Barcelona and has only played 15 games for the Spanish giants.

The rumours that he is missing Arsenal seem to have been confirmed this week when his cousin, Rigobert Song, told reporters: “Barcelona put so much effort into signing him last summer, and Alex turned down many great teams in order to sign with them.

Arsenal Debate – Should Wenger bring back Samir Nasri?

Are Some Things Fixable- Would you Have Nasri Back? By DS

Manchester City’s surrender of their championship has been with so much of a whimper that there are rumours of a massive squad overall in the summer. With Roberto Mancini admitting he could ‘punch’ Samir Nasri at times this season it is safe to say the Frenchman could be one of those unsure about his long-term future.

Cesc Fabregas to return to Arsenal?

All Arsenal fans were understandably upset when Arsene Wenger gave Cesc Fabregas his wish to return to Barcelona a couple of summers ago, but at least we all understood the reasons for his departure and would probably welcome our old captain back with open arms.

Well today Wenger has told of his belief that he could see Fabregas returning to the Emirates in the future, although he doesn’t think it will be in the next couple of years. He said: “I’m not convinced that he won’t come back here one day,”
