Don’t get too excited, it’s not Falcao. However, all the media attention devoted to the Colombian striker, Radamel Falcao, could be a blessing. Madrid’s other striker, Adrian Lopez Alvarez, has passed under the radar, despite hitting 11 goals in 18 European matches for the Spanish side. Commonly known as Adrian, the striker has declined to sign a new contract with Madrid and has a release clause of under £15 million.
Adrian has told Spanish newspaper AS that he is happy and not worried about his future, having three years left on his current deal. His club must feel differently, though, if they are trying to get him to re-sign. Adrian joined Madrid as a free agent from Deportivo La Coruna last summer and has been in impressive form all year, ousting former Arsenal man Jose Antonio Reyes from the starting line up. .......Read the full article here
