Adam Kemp – Why can’t Wenger motivate brilliant Arsenal players? 94

Woeful Gunners cannot even beat Southampton as our rivals extend the gap. by Adam Kemp

Arsenal may have won four games in a row in the Premier League however they have been far from convincing. We have ridden our luck recently and I am getting pig sick of these players failing to be consistent throughout the season. It took three dubious penalties against West Brom and Wigan, which certainly gifted us six points as we failed to create anything from open play. I have been saying all season we do not create enough chances consistently and today we failed to break down another team full of inferior players. It is unacceptable that a team like Tottenham can have thirty-four attempts against Reading and we can only muster one shot on target against a team of similar quality.

Southampton 1 – 1 Arsenal, a woeful performance

I’m in utter shock. After our 7-3 thrashing of Newcastle on the weekend, I was sure we’d get a solid result at St Mary’s today and really put pressure on the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea. But yet again when the going got tough, we bottled it.

We started off the game really well surprisingly and were forcing Southampton into making quite a few mistakes. However, we didn’t make it count and for the 30 minutes it was all Southampton. They were all over us thanks to terrible performances by Sagna and Podolski particularly.

Atrocious Arsenal – Are we at the end of an era? 58

Bradford 1 – 1 Arsenal; knocked out by penalties by KJ

What a disgraceful performance today. This was a match that Arsenal had to win, HAD TO. It is beyond a joke now. We have constantly slipped up against the smaller teams this season. They look completely disinterested and have no ambition to actually win the match for the fans. It’s a disgrace.

Onto the actual match. We were atrocious from the beginning till half time. We couldn’t string two meaningful passes together. We were lethargic and uninterested and clearly complacent. As a result, we were punished by Bradford from a set piece.

Stuttering Arsenal continue to underperform with another lacklustre performance against Schalke. by Adam Kemp

The rollercoaster ride that is Arsenal has begun to loop round once again this season. From the sublime to the ridiculous; who am I kidding – from the average to the ridiculous? What is compelling about our underperformance this season is the fact that we have failed to score in 33% of our games this season. We have played twelve games and fired blanks on four occasions which demonstrates that this team has lost its ability to penetrate in the final third. The Carrow Road syndrome was repeated tonight against better opposition and we were severely outclassed. To manage one measly shot on target against an average European side at home is without doubt a disgrace.

Arsenal 0-2 Schalke Review – No excuses We were rubbish! 78

Arsenal 0 – 2 Schalke: Worse than the Norwich game by KJ

I’m in shock. This has to be the worst performance by an Arsenal team in quite some time. This team had absolutely no determination or grit to get the win today. We just imploded. There was no spark to the team. The team Wenger fielded should’ve beaten Schalke. There is no excuse even considering injuries.

The game started off decently for Arsenal who harboured most of the possession but didn’t really threaten. Eventually, Schalke grew into the game and started to threaten. Afellay managed to get one on one with Mannone and dived to try and win a penalty. Luckily for us, Afellay was penalised. Mannone should’ve dealt with the ball rather than going to ground flapping at Afellay’s leg. It could’ve easily have been awarded a penalty on a different day.

Podolski – Arsenal fans might yet call me rubbish! 16

Posted on September 29, 2012 by admin

The new Arsenal winger Lukas Podolski has been extremely impressive in the opening games of this season as the Gunners have remained unbeaten in all competitions, but the German international has declared that it is far too early for him to be declared a star for the Gunners after just a few games into his first season.

Podolski, 27, said: “You come to a new club and a new league and you never know how it will start or how the team plays.

“The style of football is the kind I like. One or two touches. Quick passing. Fast at the front.

Van Persie – Song and the Arsenal defence were great but I was rubbish! 21

Posted on December 12, 2011 by admin

Arsenal only managed to win 1-0 over Everton this weekend and it was thanks to the usual Van Persie winning goal, but the Dutchman was not happy with his own performance and thought that his finish was just lucky!

He said: “It wasn’t a great game in my opinion, especially from myself as too often I had touches which did not go the way I wanted,”

“I’m not really happy with that, with my own performance, but pleased with the win.”

“It was a great pass again from Alex Song, unbelievable. He is a defensive midfielder, but the amount of skill he has is just a dream. A great pass from him.

Toby: Nasri and Clichy are rubbish, and Wenger has perfect replacements already! 98

Storm in a tea cup! by Toby Leach

Well it all seems to be doom and gloom at the moment so lets see if we can bring this whole debacle back down to earth and get to the meat of it!

As the media circus gathers momentum and tries to derail the Gunners lets look at the real health of our beloved club going into preseason training.

Lets start with the Cesc-sesment of Fab, we all know this guy’s quality and he has for many years been one of our best players, but many fans like myself are slowly coming to terms with the fact that one average player that wants to play for you is worth ten world class players that don’t!

Arsenal target Jermain Defoe? 26

Posted on June 04, 2011 by admin

There have been some really strange Arsenal transfer rumours this week, but this must surely stand out as the most unlikely. The Star reckons that Arsene Wenger is targeting Tottenham’s Jermain Defoe to replace Nicklas Bendtner.

Defoe has had anawful season at Spurs. He’s either been injured, out-of-form or just plain whinging all year at White Hart Lane, and when given a chance to prove himself again he has gone missing completely.

Harry Redknapp would love to get £10m from anyone for the 29 year-old prima donna so he can buy a proper striker, so why on earth would Arsenal even consider him, even if he didn’t play for the Spuds!

Adam Kemp: Wenger has to go now, he is clearly insane! 136

Arsenal’s miserable run continues to prove my predictions correct once again! by Adam Kemp

Mathematically we may be still within a shout of mounting a challenge for the league, however it is becoming increasingly more obvious that we will see the same old story unfold. Can any of loyal followers still claim that these are one off mistakes? Or have you come around to the fact that the inconsistency in the results demonstrate how useless we actually are! I was at the Emirates today and I could hear all the frustrations being vented in ferocious booing for our lacklustre performance. I was screaming “Wenger Out” and many of the fans that surrounded me almost accepted my chants without any protest!

WTF? So what the hell went wrong with Arsenal? 95

Posted on September 25, 2010 by admin

I don’t really know what to say to be honest. Yes Arsenal have got a few injuries, but after OUR RESERVES beating Tottenham at the lane during the week, you would think that we had a much stronger team than West Brom..

So most of the players that played today had a rest during the week, and saw that their places were at risk by the quality coming through from the reserves, but did that inspire them to play better? NO!

All I can say is that is the most embarrassing result I have known for a long, long time, and I just dread to see Wenger come out and say that Arsenal can still win the Premiership.

Schwarzer story is rubbish (again!) Official denial issued 12

Posted on August 11, 2010 by admin

Once again, someone from The Sun has made up a story to fill in space, and everyone has fallen for it hook line and sinker. The Sun headlined this morning with this stocking filler: SCHWARZER: LET ME JOIN ARSENAL

MARK SCHWARZER has stunned new Fulham boss Mark Hughes by slapping in a transfer request.

The Aussie keeper, 37, wants to force a move to Arsenal, who bid £2million before the World Cup.

But Hughes wants Schwarzer to stay and will play hardball.
