It’s the 11th day of the window and there’s nothing really interesting to talk about with regards to incoming players at Arsenal (which is deeply worrying). As a result I wanted to discuss whether Wenger got it right with Sahin. .......Read the full article here

Arsene Wenger has spoken about Jack Wilshere in glowing terms and has revealed that the England midfielder is working very hard and doing well on the road to recovery. He is too important to the Gunners, however, to risk bringing him back too early or of putting too much pressure on the 20-year old.
October will be an important month for Jack. I will promise you that I will be careful but Jack works very hard.”
Wenger also suggested that the recovery of Wilshere was a factor in not pushing too hard for the loan deal for Nuri Sahin. Wenger does not see Sahin as a replacement for Alex Song, but a player more like Wilshere who plays further forward. .......Read the full article here

The longest and most complicated loan deal in history has finally been arranged, with Liverpool announcing that Nuri Sahin will be at Anfield as long as he passes his medical. The Spanish media reports that Liverpool have agreed to pay Real Madrid £5 million for the privilege of having Sahin for a year. If the reports are true then I can fully understand why Arsene Wenger did not bring the Turkish international to the Emirates. .......Read the full article here
If Arsenal fans were beginning to worry about the gap left in the Gunner’s midfield by the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona, then Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is ready to put their minds at ease. The Turkish international Nuri Sahin from Real Madrid was rumoured to be on the verge of signing a year long loan deal with Arsenal, but is now going to Liverpool so unless Arsene Wenger makes a nother move in to the transfer market before the end of the week, Song’s role will have to be filled from the existing squad. .......Read the full article here
So this morning it would seem that the Sahin saga has taken yet another turn in what seems to be the player opting for Liverpool. I find this shocking as he so desired to want to come to Arsenal and play for us a day ago, apparently. Liverpool are paying him more but can’t offer Champions league football. It’s surprising how many players we lose out on because of money. Let’s face it, this isn’t the boy scouts here. Players have a limited window in which to shine and most, if not all, want top dollar for their skills. .......Read the full article here

It was reported this morning that Liverpool were back in the driving seat after Sahin’s agent spent the weekend up in Liverpool, but now the Independent has announced that the Turkish international has passed a medical at London Colney and could play in this weekends game against Stoke City. .......Read the full article here
The story about the destination of Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin seems to change twice a day at the minute. Today all the rumours are suggesting that there has been a problem between Arsenal and Madrid about the details of the loan agreement, whether it is the money involved or the possibility of a permanent deal at the end of the year or the idea that Jose Mourinho does not want Sahin to come to Arsenal. .......Read the full article here
There has already been plenty said about Mr. Sahin. He looked as if he was about to sign for Liverpool, then we hijacked the deal. Then he looked as if he had already signed for us, and now there are reports that Liverpool have come in and hijacked OUR deal. WTF? So I have decided that, for the moment, I’m going to focus on something else; namely, the deal involving Yann M’Vila. A no less confusing saga, mark you, but at least it’s different to that mind boggling Sahin deal. .......Read the full article here
Wenger is still after M’Vila and Sahin is not here yet! by KJ
The news last night was that three clubs were interested in Yann M’Vila. Those 3 clubs are Tottenham, Arsenal and Spartak Moscow. This came directly from the Rennes Chairman’s mouth on RMC Sport in France. He confirmed last weekend that M’Vila had played his last game for Rennes so he must be pushing for a move. In his interview, he essentially said that Wenger was in the driving seat for this transfer and acknowledged that Wenger would be after Rennes star man by hinting at the Song transfer saga. .......Read the full article here
