Two of Arsene Wenger’s promising young Gunners are going to spend the rest of the season in Yorkshire. Sanchez Watt is committed to helping Leeds United win promotion from League One, while Jay Emmanuel-Thomas will be a few miles down the road at Doncaster, who are presently seven points away from a play-off place in the Championship.

The latest young star to emerge from Arsene Wenger’s awesome academy is the 18 year-old striker Sanchez Watt. He made his first-team debut in the Carling Cup against West Brom earlier this season, and marked the occasion with his first goal for the club too.
He followed that up with another good game against Liverpool, and it seems he has done enough for Arsene Wenger to sign him up on a long-term deal, and it has been announced today that both he and Alex Song have committed their futures to Arsenal. .......Read the full article here

Arsenal’s Carling Cup goal hero Sanchez Watt has revealed that he was scouted by Arsenal at an early age, and was signed by them when he was just SEVEN years-old!
He was playing for Senrab FC in Hackney at the time, a club that is famous for attracting talented youngsters. In fact John Terry, Sol Campbell and Jermain Defoe also started their carrers there.
Watt said: “I used to train at Victoria Park in Hackney with Senrab and Arsenal came to watch me play,”
