Navas rejected Arsenal by AH

Manchester City’s summer signing Jesus Navas has revealed he rejected a move to Arsenal, three years ago, with his statement basically suggesting that the reason was he felt Arsenal would be a step down from previous club Sevilla.
City apparently got a bargain with the deal being less than £20 million, which I think is an absolute steal for someone of Navas’ quality, however admittedly they have taken a massive risk in signing him as it’s unclear whether his issues with being homesick still persist.

The Spanish international stiker, Alvaro Negredo, could be on the way to Arsenal soon. There are sure to be other clubs interested, but Arsene Wenger is definitely in the market for a quality new front man, and has been told by Barcelona that Davis Villa will not be sold this January. The 27-year old striker currently plays for Seville in the Spanish Primera Liga, but it was revealed yesterday that he wants a move to the Premier league in England.

Squillaci, well what can you say about this guy. He has been absolutely diabolical for Arsenal in my opinion. But now it seems that he is on his way out of the Emirates. Costing us a reported £4 million from Sevilla back in 2010, the Frenchman went on to make 39 appearances scoring 2 goals in the process.
