Arsenal’s only signing of the transfer window, Nacho Monreal, is convinced that the Gunners style of play is similar to what he has been used to in Spain, and feels that having his old team-mate Santi Cazorla already in the squad will help him settle into the Premiership very quickly.

Arsenal’s very own signing-of-the-season Santi Cazorla is reportedly very good friends with Athletico Bilbao’s prolific striker Fernando Llorente, and according to the Express he wants the Spanish international to join him at the Emirates.
Llorente is fast approaching the end of his contract at Bilbao and Wenger could snap him up for peanuts in January, and considering that the Frenchman has made it clear that he is short of strikers it is a real possibility that Arsenal could make a small bid in January. .......Read the full article here
Last month we brought you the news that Arsenal were to do battle with Barcelona over Spanish striking sensation Francisco Alcacer Garcia, but Valencia are desperate to keep hold of him and are preparing to offer the 18 year-old a new contract which would tie him to the club until 2016.
Valencia hope that by offering Alcacer a new contract it will put to an end all the speculation, but earlier this year he refused their offer.
