Wenger must concentrate on Arsenal’s football by JL

Hello Fellow Gooners, it’s been a while.
There has been anxiety amongst a number of us Arsenal fans as to how this summer will turn out. Also, the feeling since the decisive victory for the Gunners at St. James’ Park on May 19 has been mixed.

Lighten up Arsenal fans – Life’s not so bad! 82

The bigger picture by PC

What people forget about Arsenal is that we have moved to a new stadium and it has (and is) being paid for organically by the club, not by some sugar daddy. The move to a the Emirates was for the long term benefit of the club, and by long term I’m talking the next 25-50 years. We would never stand a chance of competing with the biggest European clubs without the move. Unfortunately, this was always going to mean that it would put a strain on the financial resources available for players. Coupled with this, at the same time, the likes of Chelsea and City have acquired billionaire owners and can pay whatever they want for players. This not only means we cannot afford the best players, but it also drives wages up massively, making it harder for us to hold on to our best players.

Arsenal Debate: We must keep faith in Wenger to get it right this time 47

Arsene Wenger is the man for Arsenal By CJ

Many people recently have criticized Arsene Wenger and his transfer policies, they say he is too stubborn and won’t sign the players that Arsenal need. I used to agree with this opinion however after watching us finish fourth last weekend, I still think Arsene Wenger is the man for us. Dont get me wrong i certainly dont believe that 4th place is the limit for Arsenal but now we have a springboard that many of our competitors dont have. You look at the landscape of the premier league next year and we are in very good shape. We have something that no other club near us have – long term managerial and financial stability. Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City all are going to have new managers, we have a manager that knows how this works and has guided to Champions League football year after year.

It’s time for Wenger to secure his genius status 38

Arsenal have always been slated for their spending and financial status. Despite being one of the world’s wealthiest and most valued clubs, every year Arsenal fail to bring in the big name players that everyone is desperate for, in order to make our team great once again.

Arsenal have managed to consistently compete at the highest level on a relatively low spending budget. It was recently announced that In English Premier League History Arsenal have spent £406,690,000 on incoming transfers, which may seem a lot to you but when you think that it’s over the entire course of the premier league era, it’s a very long time and in comparison to other clubs we are 6th in the spending table, behind Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, United and Spurs. (They are actually ahead of us in a final table for once!)

Arsenal Board WILL keep the faith with Wenger 60

Posted on February 18, 2013 by Bob

In a move that is probably designed to stop too much speculation about the Arsenal manager’s position before it starts to build, the board at the Emirates are preparing to offer Arsene Wenger a new contract with another two years on it. This will keep the Frenchman in charge of the Gunners until 2016, 20 years after he took the reigns.

Following the disappointing defeat by Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, the frustration of many Arsenal fans has bubbled to the surface again. Wenger himself said after the game that he could understand the anger of the fans and was nor surprised that he and the players were subjected to booing.

Abuja Stadium will NOT be re-grassed ahead of Arsenal match 37

Posted on July 02, 2012 by admin

The JustArsenal team got completely slated by our Nigerian readers the other day for daring to suggest that the Abuja National Stadium would not be ready in time for the game against Arsenal on August 5th.

After an inspection in May, a spokesman for the organizers said that the pitch would be fixed before Arsenal’s arrival. He said:“After reviewing the recommendations of our groundsmen, we have resolved to change the pitch of the Abuja national stadium,”

“We need to do this because we don’t want any kind of injuries to the Arsenal players. We are committed to having the Wenger boys here. That is why the grounds men at the Emirates came here. So, the pitch you would see on August 2 would be same you watch week in, week out at the Emirates.”

Arsenal Debate: Is Adam Kemp wrong about Arsene Wenger? 70

It’s Time To Talk About Kemp – By JG

This is the one and only time I am going to write an article about Adam “the negativity spreader” Kemp. I for one am tired of reading his articles (which always say the exact same things every single time). The number one reason I find his articles so abrasive, is because he has tailored them to only present certain facts which support the argument he continually makes. He leaves out critical information (probably by choice) to make his argument sound plausible. The following paragraph/s debunk his entire argument.

Why Arsenal CAN’T spend fortunes in the transfer market 101

First Things First…Get The Stadium Paid Off – By JG

Just how much of a “war chest” do Arsenal fans believe is available? There seems to be this rumour going around that Arsenal have some giant surplus of funds to dish out for all of the “overpriced” players in the world.

Well, unfortunately that just isn’t the case; and that’s because they are still trying to relieve the club of “the figurative anchor around the neck” that is the Emirates.
