Wenger – Every Arsenal game is a Cup Final now! 40

Posted on March 16, 2013 by admin

Arsenal have got to start clawing back Chelsea and Tottenham in the race for Fourth Place and will certainly have been helped by both sides now facing two-legged Quarter-Finals in the UEFA Cup, but for Arsene Wenger, all Arsenal have to do now is win every game just like they did in midweek in Munich.

“We were not happy after Bayern but we felt we had done our job by winning the game,” said Arsène Wenger.

“Now we have to keep the positives and be inspired by this result for the rest of the season.

Jenkinson – Arsenal are going to Anfield for all three points 27

Posted on September 01, 2012 by admin

The Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson is really looking forward to going to Anfield this weekend, and believes that despite failing to score in the first two games of the season, Arsenal will be able to take advantage of a more open game to grab all three points.

“Anfield is always a great place to play football, we’re all looking forward to it and we’re going for the three points,” Jenkinson said. “I was only on the bench last year, but the atmosphere and the stadium itself make it a special place.

Szczesny – Arsenal can take three points at Man City 53

Posted on December 13, 2011 by admin

You just have to love the confidence of Wojciech Szczesny, he never gives up on his own ability or the chances of Arsenal winning the Premiership title.

It was a great result that Man City finally lost a game to Chelsea last night, and Szczesny believes that Arsenal can hammer another nail into the moneybags coffin next weekend by beating them in Manchester.

“It is very important that we keep going now,” said Szczesny. “We believe that we can win every game.

“We have a massive game against Manchester City coming up. They will be favourites this time but we are confident we can go there and get the three points.

Is Chamakh a blatant diver? Scott Dann thinks so! 34

Posted on October 17, 2010 by admin

A few weeks ago I got an email from an Arsenal fan in America (Hi Rick!), who asked if he was the only one that thought Marouane Chamakh seemed to fall over in the box very easily. I didn’t think much about it at the time, but after Saurdays game, maybe it’s time to ask if Arsenal have now got their very own Drogba?

Eduardo got pilloried at the beginning of last season when he was accused of “blatant cheating”, and now Chamakh is basically being accused of the same thing. The Birmingham defender, Scott Dann, who “fouled” Chamakh is adamant that he didn’t touch the Arsenal striker.
