Arsene Wenger is famous for finishing in the Top Four, and more importantly for Arsenal fans, always finishing above our rivals Tottenham in every season since he arrived at the club.
Tony Adams, who was a big factor in Arsenal’s glory days under Wenger, has no doubt that the Gunners will win today and carry on that fine tradition of St. Totteringhams Day!
Adamssaid: “I am sure Tottenham will beat Sunderland. That will mean Arsenal have to win at Newcastle, but they have the capability to do that with the goal potential in the team. .......Read the full article here

Tony Adams thinks Bould will clash with Wenger by TS
Well now, isn’t Tony Adams the bearer of bad news lately. First he laid into Wenger for selling Robin Van Persie, then he criticized Arsenal for not bring in any new players and now the former Gunner is hinting that Bould and Wenger will clash very soon. It’s irrelevant that I actually agree on the last thing Adams said; it’s just surprising to hear him become so controversial. He’s quite a grouch. .......Read the full article here

Tony Adams MBE, or Mister Arsenal as he is known to many Gooners who remember his incredible 22 years at the club, has been criticizing Wenger’s recent record of selling Arsenal’s best players every year, but despite that he is still very keen to return to “his club” as manager one day, and couldn’t even consider any other club in England in the meantime.
Adams has had two (very unsuccessful) stints at both Wycombe and Portsmouth but now has no further interest in working anywhere but Arsenal. He said: “I’ve done the lower leagues and it’s a different style of managing,” he said. “No disrespect but I don’t want to be Swansea boss, either. They probably don’t want me. Aston Villa? What’s the point? What can you do with them? So it’s the Arsenal or nothing and I’m not ready for that. .......Read the full article here

Where has all the loyalty gone? by AH
Gone are the days where it was often to see ‘one club’ players who stuck to their first club and often grew attached to the club as a fan.
Tony Adams is the perfect example that everyone thinks of because he was the heart and base of the famous successive Arsenal teams. His passion, strength and spirit held the team together, pushed us all the way and he was almost like a second manager to the team.
Thierry Henry may not be a ‘one club’ player, however his love for the club is still recognised and he has said many times that he is a fan, something that doesn’t seem to matter to Van Persie. Remember that picture you took Robin? You know the one with ‘Number 1 Fan’ displayed across your Arsenal shirt… .......Read the full article here

Arsene Wenger bought Per Mertesacker from Werder Bremen to add some steel to the Arsenal defence, but the German international has admitted himself that he hasn’t yet adapted to the pace of the Premiership, and is still having “communication problems” with the rest of the team.
But Wenger has no doubt that Mertesacker will gradually improve, and thinks he will become Arsenal’s new Tony Adams, who marshalled the Gunners defence with more than a little success.
Wenger told the press that Mertesacker found it hard in his first couple of games. “He said it was relentless,” said Wenger. “It is quicker than the football he is used to playing. .......Read the full article here

The Arsenal legend Tony Adams is currently back in the UK on tour with his club Gabala FC, who he has managed in Azerbaijan for the last year.
He spoke to The Independent this week, and he was asked what he believed were the reasons for the unrivalled success he enjoyed at Arsenal in the 90′s, and he had no doubt that the massive investment from Danny Fiszman was the main drive that enabled the Gunners to buy and keep the best players available. .......Read the full article here

The Arsenal legend Ray Parlour believes that Arsene Wenger desperately needs to buy a leader in the same mould as Tony Adams, and he believes that Bolton’s Gary Cahill should be brought to the Emirates immediately as the perfect solution.
Parlour believes that Arsenal would have easily won the League with just three additions to the squad, but Cahill is the most important component right now.
Parlour said: “This summer is vital. I think he will buy three players and he will let a few go – people on the fringes, maybe the likes of Denilson and Bendtner. .......Read the full article here

The ex Arsenal and England captain Tony Adams is currently managing a team called Gabala in Azerbaijan, and despite a slow start to the season, they have now gone ten games without losing and are in the quarter finals of the cup. Adams intends to stay there for a while, win the league, and then take them through the Champions League qualifying rounds.
He said: “I said to them that if they put me on the same budget as the top 10, I’ll win the league. If we’re not up there near the European places next year then I’ll be doing something wrong. It will depend on my recruitment because most coaches can put a team out and do OK. If you can get 75 per cent of the decisions right on who you bring to the club, then you are a good manager. .......Read the full article here
