Arsenal ready to bid for Uruguay international goalkeeper 22

It was originally revealed six months ago that Arsenal scouts have been taking note of the Uruguayan international goalkeeper Fernando Muslera as a possible long term replacement for Manuel Almunia.
It seems that Wenger is now stepping up his interest, as as Muslera is locked in contract talks with his club Lazio. Todays Mirror maintains that “Arsenal are poised to make a move” for talented youngster.
The Italian giants will fight to keep the 23 year-old at the Stadio Olimpico, but Lazio are not far away from the relegation zone, and may have trouble persuading Muslera that he can find more personal success if he stays, not to mention the superior wages he would earn at the Emirates.
