Theo Walcott’s Agent Dampens Down Rumours Of Move To Juventus
In the last couple of days there have been rumours surfacing in Italy that Juventus are planning a move for Theo Walcott. Well today Walcott’s agent has claimed that the Serie A club have not as yet been in touch with regards such a move.
Reports in Italy over the last couple of days have said that Juventus boss Antonio Conte is keen on Walcott and is keeping a close eye on the players contract talks. Walcott is just one of a number of Arsenal players that are out of contract at the end of next season, but according to reports in this country he is already in talks about signing a new contract at the Emirates.
With regards interest from Juventus Walcott’s agent Colin Gordon told calciomercato.it, “Juventus have never called us. We have not received calls from Italy recently.”
It would appear that the rumours coming from Italy are just pure speculation then, but Gordon is unsure if Walcott will remain at Arsenal. When asked if Walcott would be staying at the Emirates he said, “We’ll see. I don’t know what will happen.”
Walcott blows hot and cold. Sometimes he is brilliant, but other times he is poor. And now that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is coming to the fore and pushing for a start who knows what will happen. What do you think guys should we cash in on Walcott, or do you think he has a future with Arsenal?
My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that I think he will stay and the emergence of the OX could be just the kick up the backside that Walcott needs.

Why not play Walcott on the Left and OX on the right. Walcott has a decent left foot for crossing, and can cut inside and shoot with his right foot. It could work.

well i think he should stay but if u can let me deviate from the topic a little . why doesn’t the board for once give wenger the money to get hazard ,gotze ,subtic(hope i spelt the name right ),and two more others so we can have a strong team and move on . where’s park anyway . is he taking a walk in the park ?

Walcott is over rated but he is now among the better players plus his pace is rare to find plus he has been here for long and i dont believe wenger will replace him with someone better so i hope he stays

Walcott should stay and will stay. Will he go because OX is threatening his position? What is wrong in having two good players for one position? It gives room for rotation and competition.

They will all follow eachother out now. First V. P, then Walcott and Vermaelen. Wengers plan for this group failed. But you can’t just blame him injuries hit us big time. Eduardos injury the constant loss of V.P, Nasri, Diaby, Rosicky, Adebeyor playing up also Flamini and Hleb. We had a good balance we had a very slick team that just needed a couple more players i.e a goalkeeper and central defender and another striker all of top quality and a little more luck with the injuries and we may have not been having these discussions. Also it’s like the board don’t care or have no ambition. Winning trophies doesn’t matter to them atm. With all this cash we supposedly have. Why are we not competing? All our best players/ mature players will leave for clubs who have ambition to win silverware. And we will be left bringing through the next cycle Wilshere Ramsey Ox which would mean Wenger has conceeded defeat with the current crop including Fab and Nasri and is now focusing on his rebuild around Jack. But what will happen with them? I hope it’s not the same dissappointments, leaving before they peak for bigger clubs. What is the clubs real agenda???????????

sell walcourt cos he’s not a good player at all. He can’t beat asou ekotto one on one. why? And fabregas who loop through balls for him to run to is gone. Get jefferson farfan or renato augusto and make ox chamber deputy. Sell ashavin and bring hazard but if go to real madrid get us a natural winger like di maria. He has 20 assist for real madrid last season and a great dribbler. And lets gervinho deputize for him so that he up his game because with spur on sunday he was awful. Good winger is the key to success now. Just watch manu and bayern.
Opinions divided. What do you think?

@ Umoh That is exactly why we are struggling, we do not have depth in our squad. If one of our good players gets injured, we have shit for backup. Chelsea, United, City etc all have at least 2 good players for each position. Yes I now in order for this to happen the wage structure needs to be increased. What’s new. Same old story with Arsenal. We cannot afford world class players and depth in the squad because certain pricks are happy pocketing those funds that could be invested into a solid title winning team.
The way things are being managed, AFC is doomed to fail.
And us supporters sit here season after season, buying all the lies from AW up to the top in hopes that they might actually carry out what’s needed to be done.
Arsene Wenger himself, summed their foolishness and lack of ambition quite nicely. “If we sell Fabregas and Nasri, people will not believe in our ambition” You damn right we do not believe in your ambition. Gazidis openly admitted he’s not worried if we do not qualify CL next year.
So in all honesty, if I was RVP, Walcott or any player who wants to win trophies (I’m guessing people don’t just play sport professionally for money, they actually would like to look back one day on all their achievements), I would leave this sinking ship that is Arsenal. We are not going to win anything any time soon. I just pisses me off that Wenger has wasted the prime of some of his players, filling their heads with empty promises about waiting for his youth policy to kick in. The only thing his youth policy has kicked in is player sales.

Walcott had raw talent when he was at southamton,he played without fear then we bought him and stopped him doing what he did best, wenger has brain washed our current squad to try and pass the ball into the net or just pass it to RVP just take the shackles off walcott and watch him go.As for Hazard who’s to say he won’t go the same way if he came to us.

Walcott should stay,
in some games, notably against big clubs (barcelona), he destroys the defense with his pace and wonderful counterattack, and some great decisive pass…
we need him, but i think he should play first half and OX the second, or vice versa… that would be great

If he gets rid of anymore senior players and he don’t replace them then we will for sure be in very deep shit… arsene needs to bring in a few world class players to settle what we already have , Arshavin and Walcott +Van Persie going will bring the end end to Arsenal for many years to come ,some has to see this and start investing and maybe change the wage structure, must be done .
