The Arsenal defender Tom Cruise, who is currently playing for the England U19 side in the European Championships in France, says that Cesc Fabregas is a great example to him, and one of the best players in the World.

The England side are just about to play Spain in the semi-finals of the tournament, and he wants to win so he can show Fabregas his winners medal! “Cesc is a real inspiration to all the younger players at Arsenal because he’s one of the best players in the world.” said Cruise.

“He’s always there to offer advice and he’s a role model, like the rest of the first team.

“It would be brilliant if we could beat Spain and then win the final.

“I’d love to show my winners’ medal to the lads at Arsenal, especially Cesc. I know he’d take it well and there’d be a bit of banter flying about.”

Cruise is yet another English youngster coming through the ranks at Arsenal, and played once for the first team last season. Even though Spain are hot favourites to get through to the Final, Cruis believes England are capable of beating them. He said: “It’s going to be a hard game, but we’ve got a good chance.

“Spain are a technical side but if we play as well as we can then we have every chance of going through.”
