Two More Foreign Teenagers Linked With A Move To Arsenal
Arsenal are always on the lookout for new young talent, but at the moment the majority of supporters are crying out for more experienced, big named players to be signed in January not more foreign teenagers with a future, but the two players mentioned today have first team experience already at such a tender age.
Mateo Kovacic and M’Baye Niang are the two latest names that Arsenal are supposedly monitoring. Niang is just 16, and will not be 17 until December, but has already made his professional debut in the French League for Caen. He scored three goals at the end of last season, and scored last weekend in the 4-2 away victory against Evian, which was his first goal of this season.
He has represented France at various different age groups and is also being watched by Paris Saint Germain and Lille according to a report on footybunker.com today.
Mateo Kovacic has been linked with Arsenal in the past two transfer windows, and in August reports suggested that Arsenal refused to pay the £10million asking price for Kovacic. He is still on the Arsenal wanted list, though Manchester United and Juventus have now joined the race to sign him.
Kovavic has scored three goals this season for Dinamo Zagreb, but the player himself says he is not looking for a move despite some of Europe’s top clubs regularly watching him in action. Kovavic said, “For now I am happy here, but my day will come.”
Two very promising youngsters that could find themselves playing at a higher level before very long, but it is the big name signing that people want to see at the Emirates when the transfer window opens again in January.

I wish Arsenal would just spend the money on these players from the get go. By the time we are prepared to offer the right amount, every bloody team in Europe is after them.

Elvi u really are short sighted hasn’t it never occurred to u and the ppl who think as u do that Wenger is a man forced to look for these potential superstars instead of snapping up ready made talent… When u buy potential as in these kids mentioned in the above article u not only fulfill the club ambition but league rules. The clubs ambition above Wenger is to produce superstars from reasonably cheap buys then sell for a profit. Buying them young also ensures these players are in the home grown quota in regards to league rules which means if they choose to stay at arsenal there is no problem worrying about buying overpriced sub standard English players which Liverpool fond themselves doing. Wenger is a bloody miracle worker and has turned average arsenal teams into champions league qualifiers every season since David dein was ousted.. So u want someone to blame buck starts with Ivan gazidis and work your way up…. EIE

Dear Wenger,
Is spending on the two young players the most critical ingredient Arsenal needs at the moment?.Please clearly identify the critical priorities of the club to enable the club move forward.
Otherwise buying such players to sell them at a future time, making a massive profit which never ploughed back into the team at the expense of experience and cups is what is killing the club and making fans angry.
FANS ARE CAREFULLY WATCHING AS STAR PLAYERS ARE NOT WILLING TO COME/EXTEND THEIR CONTRACTS AT ARSENAL BECAUSE OF YOUR POOR PRIORITIES.

What did the so cal potential win us in past 6 years my friend? And mre importantly were r they nw? Playing for other teams.potential players use us to they can make name for them self, when they realise arsenal only aim for 4th place they leave.thats the reality my freind u can defend wenger but the facts speaks for it self.the man cant even address the basic issue that is defense which we had for past 6years.
