Van Persie - A real Gooner!
The Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie scored twice as Arsenal destroyed Tottenham on Saturday, and then went on to say he loves beating the Lilywhites, and even likes to see them lose when they are not playing the Gunners!
This was his reaction when asked if Robbie Keane’s remarks about “Spurs being as good as Arsenal” before the game spurred his team on.
“I didn’t really read what Robbie said but we’ll see whether they are genuine top-four rivals.
“They can say whatever they want to say because they’re allowed to, but we’ll just try to show it on the pitch and I think with a 3-0 result that’s what we showed.”
“It always feels good to beat Spurs. It even feels good when we don’t play them and they get beaten, so it’s especially good when we’ve played them.
“I wasn’t here 15, 20 or 40 years ago but the way I’ve experienced games like this is fantastic, a great atmosphere.
“All week people at the training ground are speaking about this game. Everyone is excited and we are, too.

Kudos to you RVP, every Gunner likes seeing Spurs losing but spurs they themselves know the importance of winning when it will help us. RVP, do you remember how they won for us last season just because they want us to be in the champions league.
Don’t worry, it is just a matter of time before they become our full feeder team ( that is their players are good enough ). I can’t wait for when we will be able to celebrate winning the premier league, carling cup, FA, Champions league, Amsterdam cup, emirate cup, and most importantly Champions league in a particular season ( yes ) right on their horse racing pitch.
