Van Persie not worried about facing Mertesacker at the Euros
The new Arsenal centre-back Per Mertesacker will be playing for Germany at the Euros, and they have been drawn in the same Group as Robin Van Persie’s Holland so are set to go head to head at the tournament on June 13th.
Both Holland and Germany are just behind Spain in the football betting online from Paddy Power, but with Portugal also in the Group there is no guarantee that both will get through to the knockout rounds.
Mertesacker revealed that Van Persie has already begun the banter ahead of their meeting. “He said he would be happy to see me next summer!” Mertesacker exclaimed. “That was the first thing he said after the draw.”
“This is not a friendly though, it’s a tough game and therefore both of us want to go through the group stage.
“It will be very tough to stop Robin. Sometimes he plays on the right for Holland but I think his best position is in the front, in the middle. There he can use his unbelievable skills. He is so reliable in scoring goals it is incredible.
“It’s a good group, obviously it’s one of the best at the Euros. I’m looking forward to playing those big teams and players like Robin.”
We’re all looking forward to it as well Per, but please make sure you don’t tackle Robin with too much ferocity please!

ohh no ooh why must it be ac milan! haha..we escape barca last year,this year yet again we gt the tough one.haha! gues that is our luck.bt no worries.we wud hv our new signing by that time. wilshere! sagna! santos! gibbs! n some of our new signings perhaps in january.keep on faith.a big test for us!

You remember that season when we overran them at their own backyard. We played goaless at the Emirates and went to their homeground and beat them. That’s what will happen this time around. We still have a youthful team, but this time with much experience in the squad.

torres or podolski in january remains to be seen.one experience and nt necessary as a backup to robin.as someone like podolski cn even plays on the left flank.even if we get torres,robin cn play on the left or on the attacking role behind the striker cus rambo still need to improve.bt my wish for the christmas is..
