Van Persie "placenta" clinic under investigation in Serbia!
The worldwide publicity given to the clinic in Serbia that is providing the “miracle cure” to the Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, has had a detrimental affect on the specialist Mariani Kovecavic.
The Serbian Health Authorites have now been alerted to her secret practice, and are looking to talk to her.
They can’t find any official record of her having a license to give any treatment, and to find out exactly what the treatment entails.
Mariana (who was described as “Morticia” by the Daily Mail) has had a visit at her “secret” clinic by health officials, backed up by police officers, but when they arrived they found the place padlocked and without any plaque or other identification indicating the business being done there.
A neighbouring doctor, who also uses horse placenta in her treatment, cast doubts about it being a miracle cure.
She said: “I use placenta in my treatment of muscle injuries, too. But I don’t heal them in seven days. You have to ask what else this woman is doing to get them to recover so quickly?”
Arsene Wenger also voiced his concerns about the treatment today, despite giving Van Persie permission to attend the clinic.
“I am not a fan, but also I am not a doctor,” he said.
“I have seen a few bizarre treatments. I could tell you a few stories, I have enough to write a book on them.
“But I respect the individual freedom of everybody who wants to be treated how they want to be treated.
“Since I have been in the sport, when I have any guy who is injured, their first reflex is to go to their own country to be treated.
“When I was in France, the English players want to come back to England, here, the France players want to go back to France.
“That is a problem of confidence. Robin is exactly the same – most of the time he is treated first in Holland, because that is where he feels the most comfortable.”
“The positive news we had is that originally I was told he could be out for the rest of the season, but it did not need surgery.
“Robin will be out for four to six weeks. We count six because we are a bit pessimistic.”
From this news, it would seem unlikely that Robin will be returning to the clinic for further treatment until her licensing problem is sorted out.

bollox. I wanted him to come back sooner. Well what I would do in RVPs situation is give her all the money she needs to sort out the situation so she can get on with it.
Let’s hope she gets the licence sorted out. As for the Daily Mail, they’ve dropped their standards markedly.
am not concerned with ‘licence or no licence’…let her just get Robin cured!i want him back in a week!!!
arsenal as a whole have to help with the license problem…RVP nids to play by next week against chelsea
