Van Persie – Stop saying Arsenal want my son!
There have been many ridiculous articles saying that Arsenal are trying to sign Robin Van Persie’s son, but they are all from desperate journalists trying to make a story because there are no imaginary transfer rumours to report!
In fact, looking back at the original story, Robin made it quite clear that his son doesn’t fancy going to train at Arsenal, as he is happy where he plays now! He said: “I recognise a lot of stuff of myself in him. His coach is really great. Arsenal has invited him a couple of times to come and play there but he likes it at his club. He’s sensitive for a good atmosphere. Just like me!”
So that makes it quite clear that his son has been invited to train but hasn’t taken them up on the offer. After all the crazy headlines saying that Arsenal were going to sign Shaqueel, Van Persie decided that he had to clarify the position yet again. He said:
“He plays in a team with some of his school friends; he is lucky to have a very good coach, who I rate highly. Those kids have so much fun, and I don’t really want to take him away from all that.
“We have the option to take him for an extra session a week at Arsenal and we’re thinking about it – I might bring him along to try it and see whether he likes it, ” Van Persie told Arsenal.com.
“But it’s not as serious as Arsenal wanting to sign him – the Club just gave us the option to have a look, because they’ve seen and heard a couple of things about him. It’s true that he’s doing well and has good timing, but like any kid of his age he enjoys a lot of different things.
“It’s far too early to say that he’s a special talent or anything like that; for me, the main thing for both of my children is that they enjoy whatever they are doing, whether it’s football or something else. I saw a couple of newspaper articles talking about him but trust me, it’s nothing that serious!”
So can we drop this talk now. It’s becoming tedious….

Arsene might be planning to lining him up with his dad (if he stays) in next two years.

RvP’s son will end up at Man City or Madrid, just like his dad. Thanks to the f*cked up board and Kroenke.
